Basically, referring back to the schematic diagram, there are two areas where access is restricted. The two areas are: 1. Things coexisting with us in the Physical Plane such as UFO's and 2. The other planes of existence.

Our Neighbors in the Physical Universe

We know that we have physical neighbors because, from time to time, their ships malfunction and crash here. "Roswell," of course, is the classic tale of this type of thing.

The government scoops up pieces of these ships and then tries to reverse engineer them to get something that will work. Many are tested at AREA 51 [it is called Area 51 because the "51st. 'space wing' " of the U S Air Force is based there].

For example, the Roswell crash of 1947 was followed by the "invention" of the transistor in 1948 which revolutionized electronics. There is no logical path from vacuum tubes technology to transistor solid state technology. They are completely different although they accomplish similar goals. But, knowledge of one would not "lead you" to the other.

Our Neighbors in the other Planes of Existence

The Government of the United States makes decisions based upon Scientific Atheism. It does not [publicly] accept or acknowledge the existence of GOD, of Spirits, of Angles or Devils, or of the possibility of life beyond physical death or of leaving your body while still living and healthy and taking trips to other dimensions [planes] or other points in time. Presently, the Government is powerless to stop religious groups from printing information about these things, but it does take steps to prevent this type of knowledge from becoming too commonly available.

Example: "DICYANIN"

Dicyanin is a blue dye. It is not a drug. It is not physically dangerous. It is not poison. However, you cannot buy it. The chemical company that makes Dicyanin assigns a security code to its customers. To see how high Dicyanin is classified we asked a government chemist if he could order some. His security code allowed him to buy all the LSD or Heroine or Cocaine he wanted but when he requested Dicyanin Dye he was told he was not cleared high enough to obtain it.

Why not ? Well, Dicyanin Dye has "special" properties. If you make a window using two panes of glass with Dicyanin Dye between and look into it you can see the Astral World directly. Now, if you are a psychic or meditation student, you can see the Astral World too but this dye allows ANYONE to see it. Now you see why it has a higher security rating than Heroin ! If people could buy this simple dye [freely available in the 1940's] they could prove to themselves and anyone else the existence of another Plane of reality.

Private researchers used Dicyanin Dye before the Government locked it away in the 1940's. This gives an approximation of the time when the decisions were being made to censor all available knowledge so that new generations could be "programmed" into a belief system that was manufactured by the Government and which had no relation to true reality.

Kirlian Photography yields images similar to Dicyanin, but it is limited because it yields still pictures as opposed to a real-time continuous view.

Specific Controls

The US Government does specific things to control the public database:

1. Surveillance of new inventions

If you invent something that the Government likes or thinks should not exist, they will come for you. The original inventor of the Laser found that out the hard way. First, the Government declared the Laser to be a secret. Then, it told the original inventor that he was not cleared for secrets, arrested him for possession of secrets, took his invention and all his notes and left him high and dry. Later, some government scientist with a security clearance submitted the LASER to the US Patent Office and was granted a "secret" patent on it and the original inventor never received any credit and is lucky to be alive at all, based on past performance of the Government.

2. Surveillance of College Students

Kids smart enough to go to College may be too smart. They are watched. Secret information, like any information, is subject to be rediscovered at any time by someone who is bright and curious. College students can be easily "handled" by the campus health service, however. If they are felt to know too much, Psychiatrists can inject them with drugs designed to cause a chemical lobotomy and render them an intellectual cripple for life. It is standard practice: Parents are simply told their kid had "an attack of mental illness" and needs lots of rest.

3. Control of the Press

ALL the news that is transmitted by the broadcast media and the "reputable" print media is propaganda. Also, it is "coded." The Q-Men and other Government agents who work out in the world need accurate news. They don't sneak in a closet every day to listen for secret code on some James Bond type short-wave receiver. They watch the same news everyone else does. The difference is they have what is called "Top Secret Code Word Clearance" and so they do not hear the same thing or read the same meaning as ordinary people do because key words and phrases are transmitted and printed daily which are meaningless to the citizens but give the "in crowd" all they need to know about the current status of the Country and the World.

4. Control of Medical Science

One of the most effective controls used by the Government. It controls both population and the general quality of life. The Government controls the population by denying the existence of proven cures for many diseases such as cancer and by deliberately manufacturing designer viruses such as AIDS and Ebola [Both AIDS and Ebola were invented at the same time under CIA Black Project "MK-NIOAMI"]. In the case of AIDS, Henry Kissinger is supposed to have been the one who ordered the World Health Organization to go to Africa and elsewhere and deliberately inject people with the AIDS carcinogen by pretending to be giving out "free hepatitis vaccinations". Kissinger called the process of killing people this way "cleaning out" specific regions of the World.

5. Control of the Food Chain

Hand in hand with medicine, diet is the root cause of the diseases people get. Cancer, diabetes, heart trouble, etc. are all caused by the literally shitty food people eat. The knowledge of how to correct this is available but it is just not talked about.

Quote:
There are two fundamental ways to view history: We call one the catastrophic or accidental view of history, the other we call the conspiratorial view of history.

In the catastrophic or accidental view of history we are led to believe that historical events, such as wars and revolutions were the direct result of some sudden or surprising event. While the catastrophic view is accurate for weather, volcanoes and earthquakes, it does not always provide a realistic view of humanity and events influenced by man.

Young, malleable American and other Western minds are sadly taught the Accidental view of history in the government school systems.

Quote:

Conspiratorial history studies that part of history that is a product of man's planning. In conspiratorial history we are led to believe that events, such as wars and revolutions, are the result of planned events.

While the conspiratorial view is not accurate for weather, volcanoes and earthquakes, it is a realistic and accurate view of the interrelationship of man and nations. Since the planning for most of these events was done in secret, we use the term conspiratorial history. That is; this history is the result of plans constructed in secret, which by definition is a conspiracy.

Quote:
Interestingly enough, the Conspiratorial View of History is also the Biblical View of History. Try Psalms 2 for starters.

We believe that current world events are not simply circumstantial, but the result of an organized campaign by an elite group of unseen and widely unknown world leaders.

The Accidental View of History:
Historical events occur by accident, for no apparent reason. Rulers are powerless to intervene.

The Conspiratorial View of History:
Historical events occur by design for reasons that are not generally made known to the public, but are well known to those in power at the time.

Easy Credit in Mortgages May Backfire

IF housing prices fall, will mortgages cushion the decline, or make it worse? Put another way, will more overstretched homeowners be forced to sell?

At issue is whether financial innovations that have made it easier for Americans to buy homes have also made the system less stable and more subject to shocks that could drive many from their homes.

Traditionally, home mortgages, unlike loans to buy stock, have had a calming influence during tough times. If you buy stock with borrowed money, a decline in prices can bring on margin calls, and you must either put up cash or sell.

But homeowners have been able to hold on because mortgage loans - unlike margin loans on stocks - do not become due just because the value of the property declines. Your mortgage will not be foreclosed so long as you meet the monthly payments, even if the house is now worth less than you owe.

In the old days, the mortgage in question was probably a 30-year fixed-rate loan, and the monthly payment stayed the same for the life of the mortgage. Someone who lost a job might be unable to make the payments, but most homeowners could keep doing so.

Now, however, mortgages that were unknown in years past have become common in some areas. They feature variable interest rates that can leap if market rates do, and some allow payments of only the interest owed, or even less, for several years. Such loans made it possible for people to buy houses they otherwise could not afford, and helped to propel the housing boom that continued through the 2001-2 recession even as the stock market plunged.

But those mortgages are designed to allow monthly payments to rise rapidly. Rising interest rates, or the end of five-year teaser periods, can cause such increases, which would leave some homeowners unable to meet the payments. They expect to refinance, but that is impossible if the house is not worth the amount owed. The result could be forced sales into a weak market.

For now, all the talk about bubbles may be just talk. In the late 1990´s stock market, those who warned that prices were too high were discredited by the final huge rise in 1999 and early 2000. Only after most bears were silenced did they become right.

THE housing bears now are anything but silent, and there is little sign of the economic news - soaring interest rates or recession or both - that would bring down home prices.

But if and when a fall comes, watch the volume of home sales, particularly of existing homes. In the early 1980´s recession, annual sales of existing homes fell 50 percent, to two million homes.

This week there was talk of a weakening housing market because sales of existing homes seemed to slip in July. But that was more a matter of seasonal adjustments than reality. Over the last 12 months, 6.1 million single-family homes were sold along with nearly 1.3 million new homes. Both figures are records.

Housing is, of course, a collection of regional markets, with widely varying prices. The most expensive areas, and the ones that have risen the most in the last five years, are concentrated on the coasts, and are presumably the most vulnerable if prices do start to fall.

When that does happen, watch the volume of sales of existing homes. If it falls rapidly, that will be an indication that not much has changed, and the damage is likely to be limited.

But if sales volume stays high, that could indicate that the mortgage innovations are hurting. Then we could see rising numbers of foreclosures as homeowners discover they cannot sell their homes for what they owe but also cannot pay their suddenly higher monthly mortgage bills.

Apologia of a Central Banker: What does this tell us?
October 3, 2005
Rob Parenteau is a global strategist for RCM

In his recent speech, Chairman Greenspan took a curious turn, one that appears to have gone relatively unnoticed, but may be critical to understand the current marching orders at the Fed. Greenspan noted:

“Relying on policymakers to perceive when speculative asset bubbles have developed and then to implement timely policies to address successfully these misalignments in asset prices is simply not realistic. As the Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) transcripts of the mid-1990s duly note, we at the Fed were uncomfortable with a stock market that appeared as early as 1996 to disconnect from its moorings.

Yet the significant monetary tightening of 1994 did not prevent what must by then have been the beginnings of the bubble of the 1990s. And equity prices continued to rise during the tightening of policy between mid-1999 and May 2000. Indeed, the equity market´s ability to withstand periods of tightening arguably reinforced the bull market´s momentum. The FOMC knew that tools were available to choke off the stock market boom, but those tools would only have been effective if they undermined market participants´ confidence in future stability. Market participants, however, read the resilience of the economy and stock prices in the face of monetary tightening as an indication of undiscounted market strength.

By the late 1990s, it appeared to us that very aggressive action would have been required to counteract the euphoria that developed in the wake of extraordinary gains in productivity growth spawned by technological change. In short, we would have needed to risk precipitating a significant recession, with unknown consequences. The alternative was to wait for the eventual exhaustion of the forces of boom. We concluded that the latter course was by far the safer. Whether that judgment continues to hold up through time has yet to be determined.”

Like the Chairman’s parting speech at Jackson Hole last month, there are some important revelations here. While maintaining the party line that you don’t want to rely on central bankers to manage asset bubbles, he drops his prior strong stance that central bankers cannot identify asset bubbles in advance, and claims, correctly as I documented back in 1999 and 2000, that the Fed as early as the mid ‘90s identified a widening discrepancy between equity prices and equity fundamentals – aka, a bubble.

This in itself is an astounding about face for the Chairman. But even more astounding is his failure to explain why the Fed remained on the sidelines in the wake of this understanding. Previously, the Chairman argued the Fed lacked the necessary tools to adequately contain an equity bubble. In particular, later in the ‘90s he vigorously defended his position that changes in margin loan requirements for equities would have little impact on the equity bubble (a reversal itself of his position evident in the FOMC transcripts of the mid ‘90s, where he insists raising margin loan requirements, a standard practice of the Fed for the four decades to 1973, would unquestionably halt an equity bubble). Here, the Chairman returns to his original position, now revealing the Fed knew all along it had an equity bubble on its hand, and it knew it had the tools to deal with it. Why, one must wonder, is the Chairman so visibly implicating himself in this irresponsible position, as he prepares for his well deserved retirement?

The Chairman offers two explanations for the Fed’s passive stance. First, he suggests using the tools required to contain the equity bubble would have undermined investor confidence in future stability. At a minimum, this is an argument for early intervention in asset bubbles, not an argument supporting a stance of no intervention. If the macrofinancial imbalances supported by asset bubbles are not allowed to blossom, there is less risk to perceptions of future stability. In addition, by placing a primacy on the goal of preserving investor confidence in future stability, arguably through the various Greenspan Put operations of the past, the Chairman has delivered us to a world where risk premiums are screwed down tight across a variety of asset classes, and the Treasury bond market is presenting the Chairman with a conundrum of sorts.

Second, he is equally clear that by letting the equity bubble run, the eventual response required by the Fed to contain the bubble would have required a significant recession. Again, this is an argument for early identification – which the Chairman now confirms, contrary to his rhetoric, is in practice quite achievable for central banks – and early response when bubbles appear to be forming. The alternative of letting bubbles run their course simply leaves more room for macrofinancial imbalances to build, with the consequent threat of damage on the economy once they are unwound. This in turn boxes the Fed in to a policy program of supporting serial or sequential bubbles in order to prevent resolution of these imbalances, with their consequent economic repercussions. From here, it is easy to see how we have arrived at a US household sector deficit spending to the tune of half a trillion dollars, home price valuations never before surpassed, and a current account deficit unrivaled in US history – oddly enough, all immediately following the late ‘90s period of record US business sector deficit spending, equity valuations never before surpassed, and a legacy of overcapacity in a number of tech and telecom industries.

Now contrast the Fed’s avowed stance (at least the current version, from the proverbial horse’s mouth) with the stance of another central bank, the Reserve Bank of Australia, toward asset bubbles. In the overview of the September 22, 2005 issue of the Financial Stability Review, the RBA takes the following tack with respect to asset bubbles:

“From a financial stability perspective, the concern is that the combination of elevated asset prices and increased levels of debt in many markets could be sowing the seeds for future problems. As with the Australian house price and household borrowing booms, the longer leverage builds up at historically high prices, the greater is the potential for costly adjustments at some point later on. As such, the earlier any corrections take place, the less likely it is that the outcomes will be detrimental to the stability of the global economy and financial markets.”

Now I am not particularly interested in defending the RBA’s actual implementation of this doctrine. Here too is an economy with a housing boom, a negative household gross saving rate, and a very large current account deficit. But to the RBA’s credit, like the BoE, they eventually went out of their way to explicitly contain the housing boom in Australia. And like the BoE, so far, so good: home prices appear to be stabilizing in both countries, and household spending trajectories are similarly falling back to earth. A proactive, preemptive approach to fighting product price inflation has been widely adopted around the world of central banking. Is it not time to add a proactive, preemptive approach to asset bubbles to the operating procedures of central banks? The credibility of central bank policy makers has proven to be a critical element in the effectiveness of inflation targeting policies. Would not a central bank that credibly and preemptively contains asset bubbles find a similar reputational effect, which by its very nature would tend prevent the very emergence of asset bubbles?

Putting these longer term central banking procedural questions aside, just what does the Chairman’s apologia mean for the current Fed position? Let me suggest, in the light of the speeches of the past 2 months, the Chairman has undergone a visible but still conflicted conversion to the RBA approach with respect to the US housing boom. The speech before the American Bankers Association earlier this week is particularly telling in this regard. The Chairman, while professing no central bank ability to identify bubbles until after the fact, has gone from depicting tiny pockets of froth in the real estate market, to a view that encompasses “widespread speculation,” with loans being made that will present “significant losses” to borrowers and their lenders. If this interpretation is correct, the Fed is positioning itself to tighten longer, and perhaps stronger than the consensus currently expects. Hence the more hawkish tone to post Katrina speeches. Unless the Fed is shocked by consumer data from October, or unless the housing boom visibly cools down, they may indeed overstay their hand.

re- the recycling of unused food. this has to be better coordinated. from what I've seen, a lot of good food goes into dumpsters. a bakery I know about had a bin behind it that was always full of bread products, all edible. I don't know what they ever did with the bread in that bin. but I think this is a common occurrence. there needs to be coordination on this kind of thing.

Quote:
RECENT WORLD HISTORY

Here we wish to discuss recent history - the history of the last fifty years or so. The people in the present generation have lived most of their lives under the influence of
an intense created illusion and have been shaped and molded by pressures and forces that are simply not real.

THE WORLD WARS

The two World Wars that we have had were pre-planned and orchestrated events agreed upon in advance by the participating nations. The Vietnam War was a medical experiment in war and was designed so as to keep a perpetual "controlled war" going at all times so that researchers who needed a "war set" for experiments could have one ready and waiting.

In the case of the Japanese attack upon the United States, there was lots of advance warning of this and the politicians deliberately let it happen because they wanted war. There is also reports that the United States met secretly with Japan and "asked them to attack". Other reports suggest that it was worse than that and Americans disguised as Japanese attacked themselves in a plan to influence
public opinion.

The main types of professionals sought after by "intelligence agencies" are theatrical people -
the same kinds of people you would assemble to make a movie. This is so they can
"orchestrate" key events (like wars and other dramatic situations) which will then be magnified
by the controlled press and have the effect of "moving" the masses in the desired directions.

THE COMMUNIST CONSPIRACY

The Communist Conspiracy never existed. The Soviet Union has always been secretly financed from within the United States of America. We created Russia and its revolutions. We created the "Communist Threat". We financed it. There was never any chance of the Soviet Union attacking the United States. There was never any threat of global nuclear war. It never existed.. The purpose of all this was to create intense pressure to motivate the masses to work harder both in the United States and the Soviet Union. They both effectively used the story that "the other one was coming". It was
never true and at the highest and most secret levels of the United States and the Soviet Union there was a common directorate - that is, the United States and the Soviet Union were essentially the same country.

The WORLD GOVERNMENT

There has been for some time a shared data base and a shared "private club of rulership" among all of the industrialized nations in the world. At the "Top Secret" level these governments all come together and have common leadership. Whenever events take place that indicate a conflict between these Governments, it is a contrived illusion for some covert purpose such as to stimulate the economy.

The "Third World" is in a different category. It has not yet "joined the club".

Along with the images displayed on screens visible on the side of the shopping cart, the captured sounds are broadcast, weaving a narrative of the unseen eyes and ears of private policing as Teran navigates both the real and virtual urban landscape. Here, the artist taps the potential of the invisible by giving it exposure to the world.

something you said about the homeless and bread made me remember my own experiences...while a courrier in Px we picked up hot bread early in the moring from an "european" specialy breads bakery in Flagstaff and distributed them to Frys in PX...when we made our deliveries, we picked up any two day old bread that had been removed from the shelf...now this was all four dollar a loaf type bread...and I suggested to my boss that he call the food banks in town and give what we were collecting to them...they said they would be glad to take it...but wanted us to deliver it...to them for free...since delivery was our biz...the owner of the co...refused to deliver for free...so I started giving the bread in basket fulls to the Indian Clinics that I delivered drugs to through out the day...by the time I went to get the second load of bread and drugs...the first was gone...some people do appreciate free food...and after a week or so of doing this...I didn't even have to unload the bread from my truck...I was met at the door by folks that had developed a taste for this excellent bread...

Also while lunching regularly at Wendys salad bar in Tempe there were a couple of homeless men that would come in to get warm on cool mornings...many times another customer would offer to buy these guys food...and were shocked to find they didn't want food...they wanted money for booze...ha

another thing you said about communism/utopiaism...my dad considers me a communist because I rave on endlessly about "equal wages" for all hours worked...my pet peve... I constanly remind this old school christian that he will find pure communism in heaven...and he better get used to it...ha ha :D

had an idea awhile ago about constructing a secret urban shelter. the idea was to have a secret place, within a city. got some ideas from this site & others like it. people doing urban exploration. underground tunnels, catacombs etc. strictly legal.

in most 3rd world countries, the ideas of cheap urban shelter is obvious. shantytowns. they are all over the map on the edge of major urban areas. social blights but officials in those countries are reluctant to clear them out. for obvious reasons. people with no other place to go. wealthier countries - it's called squatting. some euro countries take a liberal attitude towards urban squats, depending on the situation.

the idea of a secret shelter goes beyond legal squatting though. it's a creative excercise. say, you have a shovel and some styro blue insulating board (4 x 8), 4 sheets of it. you could conceivably build an underground shelter in no time, 8 ft long & 4 ft high & wide. you'd waterproof it (plastic outer & inner liner) and add a vent at the top, cover it all over with dirt, and some bushes preferably. located inside a dense bushy area. bingo. entry and exit would have to be total stealth of course.

when I was doing undergrad courses, a student lived in the wooded park adjoining the campus, inside a large hollowed out tree stump. got a tour of the place once. this person used the nearby campus toilet facilities for all hygeinic needs. saved a bunch on housiong costs, not to mention no commuting time. a little austere, but ....

POWERS AND ABILITIES OF THE GOVERNMENT

What are the present powers and abilities of the Government of the United States? What sort of things does it know how to do? What sort of things does it have the power to do if it wants to ? The answer is, unfortunately, quite a bit. Lets see what they are:

SURVALENCE

The US Government operates many spy satellites. They watch and listen to essentially everything that takes place upon the Earth Planet. They intercept all international telephone calls and data transmissions. They optically observe the surface of the earth and they probe the surface with specific scanning devices.

The satellites launched by the United States are not tiny things - they are about the size of a railroad box car and are powerful devices, in many cases nuclear-powered devices which have no shortage at all of available electrical energy.

Satellites with lasers using very low frequency infra-red beams can map the surface of the bottoms of all oceans and can instantly locate and track and identify all submarines.

They can communicate with other satellites so that a simple hand-held device would allow a US Spy to have contact with his base at any time from any place in the world.

Additionally there are active satellites with considerable power. They can send force beams and death rays. The most likely explanation for the mysterious patterns found in open fields [claimed to be from UFO landings] is the testing of these new high-power satellites which are designed to be able to select a man or a building on the ground and kill or destroy it with the touch of a button.

CONTROL

The Government is in possession of special secret drugs that can turn a person into a programmed robot who will obey exactly any command. These drugs act by opening up a pathway to parts of the brain we generally do not use. It is essentially "empty memory space". Here, a programming team creates
a new personality which is programmed to believe that whatever it is being commanded to do is natural, logical, and correct. There is an indication that Siran Siran was programmed by the CIA using these techniques.

Additionally, the government has an assortment of poisons designed to cause a natural-looking death as well as quickly cause the onset of fatal disease such as cancer.
The Government has already created and released the AIDS virus and is working on new designer viruses that have the potential to wipe out all unprotected human life on the face of the Earth

SYSTEMS OF RECORDS

The government has files on everything and everybody.
A tiny new born baby is considered a possible threat
to the National Security because it might grow up to be
a person who would learn the truth and mess up their game.

When a person graduates from High School, the principal and guidance counselors write a report on him as to what he has done [significantly] and what they think of him. This report is sent to the FBI and is the start of that person's FBI file. Beyond that point, more is added as needed.

Medical Records - including results of tests you don't even know were administered to you - are in a special data base that can be accessed by those with proper clearances.

THE TELEPHONE

Privacy, in connection with the use of the telephone, does not exist. The phone company records everyone you call from your home and everyone who calls you. These records are maintained for a period of 45 days back on every person and are given out to any influential person or politician or government agency that is curious about you.

Computers listen to all phone calls and look for key words [such as "murder" ]. If a key word is detected, the computer immediately sends your conversation in real time to a center where a government agent listens to the call.

Local police departments are supplied by the phone company with equipment tied directly into their central office which lets the local police listen to any phone they want to with no restrictions, checks, or controls.

If this was not enough, many people now buy and use "cordless phones" which can be listened to by any citizen who owns a "scanner" which can be freely and openly purchased and operated.

MATTER-ENERGY TRANSPORT

The Government has developed matter-energy transport. However, it is not perfected to the "beam me up Scotty" level quite yet. Live things do not re-materialize alive. But small non-living things can be transmitted and the system is likely installed in satellites at this time. This is the most likely explanation for the people found to have unexplainable small metallic fragments inside their bodies and brains. The classic explanation of UFO's is improbable.

Quote:
papercrete .. a mixture of Portland cement, sand, and recycled newspapers/magazines, which can be used as a building material. Papercrete is strong (compressive strength of 260 psi), lightweight, holds its shape even when wet, and has a high insulation value (estimated but unverified R 2.8 per inch). It is very inexpensive. Paper adobe is even less expensive, since it is made of paper pulp and dirt.

Papercrete is a fairly new ingredient in the natural building world. It is basically re-pulped paper fiber with portland cement or clay and/or other dirt added. When cement is added, this material is not as "green" as would be ideal, but the relatively small amount of cement is perhaps a reasonable tradeoff for what papercrete can offer.

The paper to be used can come from a variety of sources and is usually free .... newspaper, junk mail, magazines, books, etc. ... from a local dump or from the waste bin at a post office. Depending on the type of mixer that is used to make pulp out of it, the paper might be soaked in water beforehand or not.

ah yes...I throughly studied "ramed earth homes" back in the ninties...thinking it would be the best insulated home in the desert...noteing how the traditional Hogans of the Navajo are holes dug into the earth with the precious wood walls only going up another three feet...even the roof has almost a foot of dirt on it...and it is not uncommon to see goats grazing on housetops in wet seasons.

I desided though, that the hay house was even more insulated...and even more functional... after laying down a slab of cement with rebar sticking up to form the outside walls...65lb (the big ones) bails of hay are placeed staggered (like bricks) with the rebar holding them in place...stucco is sprayed on the walls inside and out

By putting a well insulated tin roof on these houses that are connected to a sistern, you can capture any water either condensed or otherwise for bathing or watering the garden...some even drink it..

and the book I read at the time said that you could adapt almost any conventional plans (for a ranch style house) to include the outer walls being made of hay...with a 2000sq ft home costing $5000...

I believe this article came out of the Mother Earth News

With the wicked and sudden changes in the weather in the wild west...I kept a tent and gear in the trunk of my car...incase of blizzard...I wanted to be prepared...read about too many "tenderfoots" that froze while sitting their cars waiting for help to come...a down sleeping bag and a couple of mre and a coleman lamp could mean the difference between life an death.

yes...and they come a little bigger too...I noticed that six major mfgs are producing "hybred" cars to make an appearance this year (06 models) and in Europe they have a "smart car"...

I test drove a mini cooper yesterday...what a delight...loads of power (275 hp) nice feel on 16 inch tires and gagets galore to delight the techno savy... these cars get 30 mpg on the low end and even though they look like shoe boxes with lights...are easy to park and comfortable with two "moon roofs"...they are still a little pricey for my pocket book, but the resale value is incredible...since BMW took over...but (sigh) that means any repairs require a dealer and parts from Germany...maybe next year...lol

the car I drove was two years old...and still cost more than a brand new chevy...but as we all know...American cars only last five years at the most...maybe when GM crashes and burns they will rise like the phoenix...from their junk bond status... and take a hint...that goes for appliances as well...people are buying used washer, dryers and frigs just because they know these were built to last...and the new ones only last til the warentee runs out...

HELLO...American built....we are tired of getting gouged...you have the inginuity...get busy and put our home made products back on top of the seller's block...cause..."we're mad as hell and aint' gonna buy it (krapp) anymore".

the Institute for the Harmonious Development of Man was an esoteric spiritual school founded by G. I. Gurdjieff in 1922 also known as Le Prieuré ... (south of Paris) The school was dedicated to work on oneself as a means of spiritual self-perfection and self-observation in the struggle against waking sleep towards achieving the state of self-remembering or subjective consciousness -- the third state of consciousness -- there being four states of consciousness in total.

Quote:
Gurdjieff taught people how to increase and focus their attention and energy in various ways, and to minimize daydreaming and absentmindedness. According to his teaching, this inner development in oneself is the beginning of a possible further process of change, whose aim is to transform a man into what Gurdjieff believed he ought to be ..

Quote:
Gurdjieff used the "Stop" exercise as one of his means to prompt his students. Suddenly and without notice a pre-arranged signal would be made, and all students would 'freeze' whatever they were doing to hold the position they found themselves in when this signal was made. The students were encouraged by this exercise to notice their habits, sense their tensions, and observe thoughts – in a word, to become able to strengthen their attention so as to remember themselves.

A Masonic Lodge, often termed a Private Lodge or Constituent Lodge in Books of Constitutions, is the basic organisation of Freemasonry. Every new Lodge must be warranted by a Grand Lodge, but is subject to its direction only in enforcing the published Constitution of the jurisdiction. A Master Freemason is generally entitled to visit any Lodge in any jurisdiction in amity with his own. He is first usually required to check, and certify, the regularity of the relationship of the Lodge - and be able to satisfy that Lodge of his regularity of membership. Freemasons gather together as a Lodge to work the three basic Degrees of Entered Apprentice, Fellowcraft and Master Mason.

Quote:
Esoteric Christianity refers to the occult study and the mystic living of the esoteric knowledge related to what adherents view as the "inner teachings" of early Christianity, seen as a Mystery religion. The term is thought by some to be originally associated with the Essenes and, later, the Rosicrucians.

Quote:
According to Max Heindel the door of a genuine Mystery School is not unlocked by a golden key, but is only opened as a reward for meritorious service to humanity and The true pupil of any Mystery School is far too modest to advertise the fact, he will scorn all titles or honors from men, he will have no regard for riches save the riches of love given to him by those whom it becomes his privilege to help and teach ..

Quote:
The classic Christian theosophy, which predates the Theosophical Society and Martinism, includes alchemists known, through their writings, to be connected to the Rosicrucian movement. Among the Christian theosophists are learned men as Valentin Weigel, Heinrich Kunrath, Johann Arndt, Johann Georg Gitchel, Jakob Boehme, Gottfried Arnold, Jan Baptist van Helmont, Robert Fludd, John Pordage, Jane Leade, and Pierre Poiret.

Quote:
Later, Emanuel Swedenborg gets special recognition because a church has followed his teachings since 1787. Currently there are two: The New Church, & The Swedenborgian Church of North America. Martines de Pasqually, Louis-Claude de Saint-Martin and Jean-Baptiste Willermoz are the three most influential figures in Martinism, which dates back to the early 1700s and continues to exist to this day.

Other current modern views on Esoteric Christianity include the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn, and its major offshoots, the Builders of the Adytum, Society of the Inner Light and the Servants of the Light. Paul Foster Case, W. E. Butler, Dion Fortune and Gareth Knight in particular are authorities from that stream that have contributed much to literature on Esoteric Christianity. Some of the modern orders of Knights Templar, Essenes, the Master Beinsa Douno's Teaching (The East European Esoteric Christianity [2]) and Anthroposophy (Western Esoteric Christianity in Europe [3]) are also worthy of note.

Quote:
Traditionally, seekers of higher consciousness have used one of three approaches:
- The way of the fakir (the 1st way). Physical conditioning and endurance of physical discomfort for long periods of time are used to discipline the mind. Typical fakir practices are yoga, holding a posture for days at a time, or lying on a bed of nails.
- The way of the monk (the 2nd way). Development of emotional control is used to discipline the mind. Praying and the cultivation of intense religious emotions are typical practices.
- The way of the yogi (the 3rd way). Development of the intellectual part of the mind is used. Typical practices are meditation and studying theories of consciousness.
It has been claimed that these ways are slow, unreliable, and lead to imbalance, producing "stupid saints" (who can do anything, but don't know what to do) or "weak yogis" (who know what to do, but can't do anything).

The 4th Way (sometimes called "the way of the sly man"), emphasizes more direct practices (such as "self- remembering" and "self-observation"), and balanced development of the physical, emotional, and intellectual capacities. The 4th Way is also the best suited for modern life; unlike the others, you do not have to renounce everything. You may begin to follow the 4th Way immediately under your present conditions.

Naqshbandi (Naqshbandiyya) is one of the major Sufi orders (tariqa) of Islam. Formed in 1380, the order is considered by some to be a "sober" order known for its silent dhikr (remembrance of God) rather than the vocalized forms of dhikr common in other orders.

The great commandment expands all of us beyond comfortable personality boundaries and into the energy of the soul--Lots Of Vital Energy. Then we bring our attunement Earthward from the higher dimensions into the world around us, acting upon it to bring transformative influences to daily life.

Quote:
The message of the Christ was preparation and how-to's. Disciples were to dedicate themselves to living by guidelines appropriate to their understanding of his instructions. By doing that, he explained to the disciples, they would be visited by the Holy Spirit, the Paraclete, advocate of the Lord. They would find themselves visited by certain phenomena and gifts that would stretch them, lifting them into another level of relationship to the Holy. These gifts, like fruit on the vine, are to be harvested and revered for the bounty they bring.

Quote:
A mystery religion is any religion with an arcanum, or secret wisdom. In a mystery religion, an inner core of beliefs, practices, and the religion's true nature, are revealed only to those who have been initiated into its secrets. (The ancient Greek term (mysteria) means "initiation", notably in the context of the Eleusinian Mysteries.) Ancient mystery religions of the eastern Mediterranean area generally focused on mythic figures who had descended into Hades and returned or who otherwise exemplified death and rebirth, such as Bacchus, Orpheus, Osiris, and Tammuz.

Quote:
The Laws are governing principles of the universe which were thought by G.I. Gurdjieff. He thought numerological and non-numerological laws. Some of the numerological laws include:
Cosmic Laws
The Law of Two
The Law of Three
The Law of Four
The Law of Seven
The Law of Nine
Ray of Creation
The Law of Six
The Law of Twelve
The Law of Twenty-Four
The Law of Forty-Eight
The Law of Ninety-Six
Gurdjieff and his followers have written that one of the major aims of the Fourth Way system is to escape from the influence of the Law of Accident, which is one of the 48 laws.

Quote:
The first level is "The Absolute", followed by "All Worlds", "All Suns", "Sun", "All Planets", "Earth", "Moon", and "The Absolute".

This set was created thus:

The heaviest/last level - "The Absolute", Earth's satellite - "The Moon", our planet - "Earth", all of the planets in the solar system to which Earth belongs to - "All Planets", the planets belong to the "Sun" or the solar system, the Sun belongs to the Milky Way galaxy or the "All Suns" combined, all galaxies put together belong to "All Worlds", and all Worlds form a final whole called "The Absolute" This lineage indicates and compares the construction of all of the levels, matters, and laws of the Universe.

Image

Quote:
It was taught that in "The Absolute" the three holy forces form a whole, and thereby there is only one law (force) in the Absolute (which is the Will of the Absolute). The three forces of this law converge to form "All Worlds", which level now being a part of the whole now has three laws. This level also having three forces, acts in creating "All Suns" in a similar process, and thereby "All Suns" has six laws (three new ones and three of the All Worlds level). Similarly, "Sun" has 12 laws, "All PLanets" 24 laws, "Earth" 48 laws, "Moon" 96 laws, and "The Absolute" 192 laws.

Each level after the Absolute has a bigger number of laws which govern it. Therefore, the further the level is away from the Absolute, the more mechanical the living things in it are. By this comparison it is claimed that there are 48 laws governing the life of living beings on Earth, thereby also claiming that the life on Earth is quite mechanical.

Being Partkdolg Duty
This term covers the core practices of the Gurdjieff Work and gives an indication of what is required of us in our daily Work. They are similar to the yamas and niyamas of the Noble Eightfold Path of Raja Yoga : non-violence, truthfulness and honesty, non-indulgence and austerity, non-possessiveness, cleanliness, contentment, self-observation, awareness of higher consciousness.

Quote:
Conscious Labor and Intentional Suffering
And as for these factors, which are the sole possible means for the assimilation of the cosmic substances required for the coating and perfecting of the higher being-bodies, today we call them 'conscious labor' and 'intentional suffering. (9)
"And this is because the thought never enters the heads of these hapless contemporary 'monks' that, although it is indeed possible to perfect themselves by means of this substance, this can proceed only if the second and third being-foods are intentionally absorbed and consciously digested in one's presence, which is possible only for one who has already accustomed all the parts of his presence to fulfill consciously both 'sacred being partkdolg duties,' that is, 'conscious labor' and 'intentional suffering.'"

"To tell the truth, my boy, I did not understand at once all that he told me, it all became clear to me only later when, during my studies of the fundamental cosmic laws, I learned that these sacred substances 'abrustdonis' and 'helkdonis' are precisely those substances which enter into the formation and perfecting of the higher being-bodies of the three-brained beings—that is, the 'kesdjan body' and the 'body of the soul'—and that the separation of the sacred 'askokin' from the two other substances proceeds when beings, on whatever planet they may be, transmute these sacred substances in themselves for the forming and perfecting of their higher bodies, by means of conscious labor and intentional suffering."

"And so, my dear Hassein, when it became clear that there had entirely disappeared from the psyche of your favorites the instinctive need for conscious labor and intentional suffering in order to take in and transmute in themselves the sacred substances abrustdonis and helkdonis—thus releasing the sacred askokin for the maintenance of the Moon and Anulios—Great Nature was constrained to adapt herself and to extract this sacred substance by other means, one of them being precisely that periodic terrifying process of reciprocal destruction."

The terms 'abrustdonis' and 'helkdonis' refer to the two being foods of Air and Impressions.

The basic design of the front of security clearance credentials presently in use in the industrialized world.. On the right side of the picture there is a colored stripe which indicates the actual level of security clearance.

There is optional information on the left of the picture such as an expiration date. At the bottom of the card there is either a symbol, such as a diamond or a circle or a triangle or there is a cross hatch pattern as shown in the example. This cross hatch pattern is a schematic of the design of compartmentalization under which the society is designed. At the level of top secret and above, there is no longer the need for this compartmentalization.

Quote:
.. the factor which separates rulers from slaves is knowledge. The masses are trained to specialize and learn about only one thing and then practice that one thing all their lives as a trade or livelihood.

But, the rulers have the knowledge of all parts of knowledge and the perspective of an overview of the interactions of the world and so are not constrained by compartmentalization.

On clearance cards with special symbols, the "STAR" indicates authority and the color of the star indicates the source of the authority. Other symbols such as the circle, triangle, and diamond symbol may contain letters inside of the symbol.

Quote:
The reverse side of the card contains the sponsoring Nation information. Security clearances issued by the United States say "Property of the US Government". Similarly, a security clearance issued by the UK would say "Property of the UK" and a soviet clearance would have said "Property of the ...". This information is written in the native language of the respective country.

On the front side, all the cards look the same - regardless of the country.

Some cards also have colored borders. The colored boarder indicates access to a place where only people with security clearances equal to or better than the color of the border can enter. For example, if the border [all around the edge of the card] is "YELLOW" , then this is a place where only Top Secret clearances and above may enter. No one else within this place is any lower than Top Secret [and this includes maids, janitors, etc.]. The secret underground cities would be examples of such places.

The shock in the cosmic scheme of things that is of particular relevance to humans is the mi-fa shock. The necessary impetus at this shock point is provided by certain emotional or psychic energies generated by the film of organic life that has evolved on the earth.

This shock is itself an octave called by Gurdjieff a Lateral Octave. Three of the notes of this Lateral octave are responsible for providing the required shock to the Ray of Creation, since all shocks require the three forces to be present.

Humans are particularly proficient providers of these energies, especially when we generate them consciously. Unfortunately we don't often do that and consequently Great Nature is compelled to extract them by whatever means she can, such as war, famine and natural disasters that cause much strife and suffering amongst humans.

The solution to this state of affairs, according to Gurdjieff, is to practice the spiritual disciplines that he calls Conscious Labor and Intentional Suffering which leads not only to the individual self-improvement of humans but also generates as a by product just those energies required by Great Nature for the harmony and maintenance of the cosmic balance.

A person in "normal" consciousness is not truly awake. In particular:
- The vast majority of the time we are in one of several less- conscious states: "imagination" (daydreaming), "identification" (distracted/fixated), "considering" (worrying about what others are thinking about us), "formatory" (acting mechanically).

These states actually cause us to forget that we exist. The illusion of consciousness is maintained by a curious trick of the mind: When we examine our ... spppoooonsciousness (as when protesting, HEY SH111T --- "This is nonsense -- Of course I'm conscious!"), we actually DO become conscious for a moment. Unexpected events and sensations also trigger momentary consciousness.

YES WE DOOOOOOO
- We are unaware that our mind is actually divided into multiple entities, capable of acting independently.

Of course, in most people, these entities are so well integrated that we rarely notice when control shifts from one to another. The illusion of a single mind is further enhanced by the fact that all the entities are in the same body and have the same name; each one considers itself to be "I". The "I's" are most noticeable when they are in conflict with each other. We then have "mixed feelings": coexisting contrary attitudes.

In the United States,

dang that is big letters thar ..

Quote:
There are a number of consequences of multiple "I's": Generally only one "I" is in the "driver's seat" at a time. We "become" one "I" after another, sometimes shifting quite rapidly. The constant shifting among them makes concentration for extended periods of time impossible, preventing us from reaching our potential. A major goal of the 4th Way is achieving a "permanent 'I'": unchanging control over attention.

Multiple "I's" make us inconsistent: One "I" makes a promise or resolution, and others violate it, or never even "hear" about it. For example, one "I" may sincerely resolve to go to sleep early tonight. But when tonight comes, other "I's" are in control, and decide (feeling equally justified) to stay up later.
Multiple "I's" also interfere with achieving higher consciousness: One (or several) decide to do 4th Way work, there's a shift to another "I" that has made no such commitment, and presto -- we're in imagination.
- The mind is also (normally) divided into four centers with different functions: intellectual center: controls rational thought, emotional center: makes emotional judgements, moving center: controls voluntary movement, and instinctive center: controls automatic movements (e.g. heartbeat, hiccups), and sensory perception.
(There are two other centers that only show up in higher states of consciousness: higher emotional and higher mental). In "normal" consciousness, we sometimes let "I's" from one center inappropriately take over functions that should be performed by "I's" from another center. Some examples: The emotional center doing the work of the intellectual center can result in biased or irrational decisions. The intellectual center doing the work of the moving center results in clumsy performance because the intellectual center is by far the slowest of the centers.
Also there is a tendency to overuse the most mechanical part of the intellectual center: the "formatory apparatus". The formatory apparatus thinks mechanically and dualistically (either/or). It contains ready-made opinions and ready-made phrases. It has attitudes about *everything* whether or not it knows anything about it.

While "formatory thinking" is easier, it produces superficial, automatic decisions. We do outrageous things when acting mechanically, that later we cannot imagine how we could have done.

Sometimes when Supe was stopping crimes
I'll bet that he was tempted to just quit and turn his back
On man, join Tarzan in the forest
But he stayed in the city, and kept on changing clothes
In dirty old phonebooths till his work was through

The fundamental exercises of the 4th Way are "self-remembering" and "self-observation". Self-remembering is simply being aware you exist, and being aware of the impressions coming through your senses. Doing this for
a moment is easy. Trying to do this for a longer period of time is hard, and reveals the insidious workings of imagination, identification, considering, and multiple "I's".

As hard as it is, self-remembering must be done regularly to make progress in the 4th Way. It is also necessary to develop the ability to self-remember in situations when it is not "convenient". You will find at first that the effort of self-remembering makes it difficult to accomplish other activities at the same time. Like anything else, it gets easier with
practice.

Self-observation involves "observing" your thoughts and feelings, and determining which center each originates from. It is particularly important to determine the thoughts and feelings that come from your emotional center. Control of emotions is necessary for progress in the 4th Way.

Eliminating the expression of negative emotions (such as anger) is another important practice. Negative emotions drain energy that can be used for self-remembering. (Ouspensky observed that we can learn to enjoy almost any negative emotion. It is valuable to recognize when this
is happening in ourselves).

If you've read this far, a number of your "I's" are probably interested in 4th Way ideas. These "I's" are called the "magnetic center", and can be used to facilitate your development in the 4th Way. The magnetic center can facilitate discrimination and understanding, and can influence other "I's" that would otherwise be obstacles to development.

Development of the magnetic center produces the "deputy steward", which can control and coordinate other "I's", giving a degree of control over your consciousness. Finally, development of the deputy steward results in the growth of the permanent "I".

Erhard reported having had a revelation while driving on U.S. Route 101 in Marin County, California in 1971. He started to see the world as perfect "the way it is" and reported an insight that his attempts to change or modify either his physical circumstances or his mental outlook had their basis in a conception of the world (that it should differ from "the way it is") that precluded or at least limited one's experiential and creative appreciation of it.

Quote:
Erhard constructed the (Est) course in such a way as to attempt to bring its students into a conceptual place where they could experience a realization similar to his own Highway 101 revelation

Quote:
Erhard quotes -

If you keep saying it the way it really is, eventually your word is law in the universe.

If you experience it, it's the truth. The same thing believed is a lie.

Life is a ripoff when you expect to get what you want. Life works when you choose what you got. Actually what you got is what you chose. To move on, choose it.

You're god in your universe. You caused it. You pretended not to cause it so that you could play in it, and you can remember you caused it any time you want to.

If you're not all right the way you are it takes a lot of effort to get better. Realize you're all right the way you are, and you'll get better naturally.

One creates from nothing. If you try to create from something you're just changing something. So in order to create something you first have to be able to create nothing.

Life is a game. In order to have a game something has to be more important than something else. if what already is, is more important than what isn't, the game is over. So, life is a game in which what isn't, is more important than what is. Let the good times roll.

This is it. There are no hidden meanings. All that mystical stuff is just what's so. A master is someone who found out.

The essence of communication is intention.

If God told you exactly what it was you were to do, you would be happy doing it no matter what it was. What you're doing is what God wants you to do. Be happy.

Quote:
There is a large potential market for the sale of "ordinariness" as a desirable commodity. Zen Buddhists, and other monastic communities, have been offering it for years.... A more modern version of ordinariness, on sale as a commodity, was Jack Rosenberg's 'est', or 'Erhard Seminars training'. 'est', with its pretentiously small 'e', was a sixty-hour marathon, staged over two weekends, and based in a large hotel room with up to two hundred and fifty trainees and one trainer. Erhardt used his skills as a philosopher and salesman to provide a glossy training package that integrated Zen with more contemporary psychotherapies. The aim was to get 'it' by the end of the training programme. The 'it' on offer was 'enlightenment', the realization that there is no enlightenment, no key, no secret wisdom, no crock of gold at the end of the rainbow. In other words, candidates paid a considerable sum of money to get 'nothing' out of the training, and trainees were repeatedly reminded that when they finally left the hotel room, all that would happen would be that they would leave the hotel room and carry on with their lives... Sure enough, it worked. I got nothing out of it.... Unfortunately, although predictably, est 'graduates' tended to make rather too much noise and fuss about this nothing, and lionized Erhardt as though he were something special. He, again predictably, tended to puff up with this sense of being special. Consequently, the whole movement became yet another American carnival of noise and messianism that grew rapidly at the end of the 1970s, with tens of thousands of disciples in the USA and Europe, only to decline just as quickly when it went out of fashion. Therefore the market is currently wide open for someone else to offer another version of 'nothing', designed to help us come to terms with the miracle of nothing-special existence.

I can't say that I miss my old dog much
And I've never looked back since I left home long ago
But I hoped a trip into the country
Would help remind me all the things I used to know

That's what I came for
That's what I hoped for

There once was good blood in the breeze here
We rode across the lake each new year
What have I remembered
What did this used to be

The ice, it used to shine upon our river
It was a mirror that the cold dark water ran way deep beneath
And here were many years of winter drownings
I kept track of these things as they were told to me

And that's what I looked for
That's what I came for...

The changes of the year were once a blessing
Well this year they're the seasons of my discontent
But I cannot rewrite my old diaries
I can only recall all the things that came & went

But that's what I'd come for
And that's what I'd hoped for...

W. Clement Stone's success formula that never fails is: Inspiration to Action + Action Knowledge (experience gained by DOING) + Book Knowledge, applied to what you want.

Anthony Robbins' ultimate success formula is: Define what you want + take action to get what you want + analyze the results of the action + adjust the action as necessary.

Napoleon Hill's success formula is: Know what you want + know what you will give in return for what you want + know when you want it by + create a plan to get it and put the plan into action + write it all out (what, when, how) + repeat written goal to yourself and visualize its attainment.

All three pretty well espouse the same formula:
Know what you want
Figure how you're going to get it (the plan of attack)
Implement the plan (take action)
Make adjustments as needed until you achieve your goal.
It's pretty basic stuff.

And yet, people have a great deal of trouble with it.

makes sense, these formulae are not original.
they are programs.

thanks to my trusty pocket recorder, I was able to capture my latest encounter with a success guru.

the amazing mr. Anthony Robbins.

oba: hello - I was told this workshop would produce results.

robbins: it WILL. are you ready to become a giant?

o: well .... I'm not sure I wanna be a giant. how about a large sized winnie the pooh?

r: you have to think BIG. if you want massive results, you must take massive ACTION.

o: yeah, well, how about a beer. do you guys serve beer here?

r: BEER? we're talking about success here. BIG GIANT MASSIVE success.

o: so .. uh .. tony, how much are you going to pay me for listening to you?

r: oh, I'm sorry, it's the other way around. you have to pay ME. $600 to be exact. but expect massive giant results.

o: that seems like a lot to pay for a bunch of hot air.

r: you don't appear very motivated to me. is something wrong?

o: uh, yeah, now that you mention it, the $ 600 is wrong. plus, I don't see any beer yet.

r: massive major changes lead to massive major success. are you sure you are committeed to changing everything about your life, including your self image?

o: say again?

r: are you ready to WIN?

o: well ... sure, but it all tastes better with a tall cold one.

r: $ 600 bucks please, the conference is starting.

o: uh, no ... you see, you have to pay ME the $ 600. that's the key to making my success immediate.

r: GUARDS . ..... !!
