I thought it was because each if these virtues corresponds to a change in consciousness, not sometime in the future but as soon as you adopt them.

It's to do with the relationship of motivation to consciousness and therefore the type of self we experience.

You know if you're greedy you'll be afraid of losing things, of others having more than you and expecting things on your own terms.

Because the vitues are consonant with underlying reality they provide a means of experiencing that reality. And in turn KNOWING it.

They prepare the mind for a more advanced form of perception.

So you cannot copy, mimic and behave in a viruous manner because it is a state of mind. So in short its about striking a right balance between our object selves and our observing selves. And the virtues allow this process to develop or evolve.

That's what I think anyway.

Yes,
Interesting how the HV's function as transition zones...

like multidimensional elevators......did you ever have dreams of elevators that go in all directions? I do.

QUESTION 8
"Is there a specific philosophical system that underlies Lyricus’ teachings?"

ANSWER 8
"The philosophical system of Lyricus is that the science of multidimensional reality is the nucleus knowledge system of the species from which all other systems emerge and have their meaning – to the degree their linkages are preserved. The problem with contemporary philosophical systems is that they fall prey to language conventions that do not rely on science, but rather the subjective opinion of individuals, and the linkages to the multidimensional reality are obscured by the accumulations of the genetic mind.

The members of Lyricus do not consider that they are teachers of a philosophical system so much as they are catalysts of a species’ knowledge system with the specific intention of guiding the evolution of that knowledge system to an ultimate conclusion: the irrefutable scientific discovery of the distinctions inherent in the individuated consciousness, and how this individuated consciousness operates in the multidimensional reality of First Source."

Simon, the WMMs have said in a few places that this "experience" is not an ahhhha moment, and if it were, it would fade as fast as it had occurred and doubt would begin immediately.

In the more recent papers, it mentions that the transformational experience takes "a while" ... often there are string events that your desires to know, attracts, and some of these take months to be REALized, before you are convinced of certain aspects of the WMMs are real...or that you have changed... it might be like a bird not even noticing it was growing feathers, until it got kicked out of the nest and could fly...because the changes are so subtle and completely natural.

I did get some physical "omens" along the way, but nothing that would mean anything to someone else, but I understood from the get go, that cellular and molecular changes were going to take some time... because of my health care background... for instance, the fluid in your cells, takes seven years to change from alcohol in an alcoholic...back to water. the skin on your face takes a month to come to the surface with a new layer being revealed... surgeries tales months to heal and sometimes years to not feel tender, baby teeth take 12 years to be replaced.

lately I have learned that there some things you can do that cause an immediate reaction in the dna... but it still takes time for it to materialize into something you are aware of... even the minerals that I supplement my diet with took a month to reflect any discernible change in my body.

there are so many "steps" in the WM experience... each philo represents months of work...the grand cycle alone takes a month to do...each cd needs a month of listening...etc etc etc.

You say you have been around for some years now...yet only after all that time, do you feel comfortable expressing your self in the forum :D

The heart virtue's are the expression of unconditional love or FSI. "Love is powerfully intelligent." The HV's may be used as vibrational keys to access to layers of multidimensional reality specific to the tones being expressed.....there are 63 combinations. Used like cords in combination they may provide access to corresponding dimensions of reality.

"The heart is dimensional and multi-faceted. It expresses emotional currents; regulates physiological functions; activates certain brain chemistry; communicates throughout the body and mind; receives precognitive impressions from your future environments; and connects you to all other states of being.

The heart is also the gateway to the compassion frequency of love—the purest force of the multiverse."
.....

"emotions have an embedded intelligence based on their frequency and how the frequency resonates with the higher circuits of the multiverse."

Through the Narrow Gate
The Heart is the Throne of God
That scene in Jason and the Golden Fleece, where the cliffs narrow making it impossible to get back
There are just so many....to see the world in a grain of sand...and so on

All these things concern the heart...as above so below, microcosm v macrocosm
The phenomenal is the bridge to the real....

Honesty, notice how that one was excluded.

Appreciation, Compassion, Forgiveness, Humility, Understanding, Valor

Out of all those only humility is a virtue, or a state of mind. The others are states of action or doing 'things'. I do mean to rock the boat but not in an ignorant way. The trance of ordinary life goes unnoticed by the majority,
here's a more accurate, for me of virtue;

"I will not serve God like a labourer, in expectation of my wages", Rabia.

Buddha's virtues were charity, kindness, humility, patience and calm(patience with your patience).

A fundamental point is that in a teacher student relationship a teacher would not prescribe virtuous behaviour if that person already had it. He might deal with the persons laziness (the reason why Rumi got his dervishes dancing, as a corrective for a tendency in THAT region and time, of people to adopt a lazy approach to things.)

Charity begins at home. Be virtuous to your self. The 6 heart virtues above are all, apart from humility, quite Frasier Crane. And they are very American, which isn't surprising because its a young country and has never existed apart from the scientific paradigm. So you would expect any form of mystical expression that comes from it to contain the vocabulary of its time.

You cannot prove a negative, but the heart really does recognise truth, if thats what you want. And besides I like the idea of the long game.

I'd sooner die an incomplete Simon tham a half baked copy of Moses or Abraham.

"Seek and ye shall find, kmnock and it will be opened to you"

I don't even like religion, I definitely do not practise and yet I'm full of it ;-)

Proverbs 17:22 Greek OT: Septuagint with Diacritics . .... "A merry heart doeth like good medicine; but a broken spirit drieth the bones"

And a tip....to feel this be virtuous to your inner self that other I. In short you are what you are, but perhaps you don't know it yet. The Bible's full of phrases like 'forgive him/them/us for (insert pronoun) do not know what they are doing"

At least here, albeit occasionally, the two legged person can get a break from hopping.

Appreciation is primal to the WingMakers materials, see the first Chamber of philosophy.
Compassion has ever been preached by the wise, and all who thought they knew as well.
Forgiveness was the virtue of the Christ, Jesus and the Course of Miracles ascribed to him.
Humility that is indeed highlighted in the Living from the Heart paper is basically selflessness.
Understanding may be the one you miss in a sense, even though you seem precisely not to.
Valor is the heart itself, it is my name, it is our vigor.

Dharma (Justice)
Prema (Love)
Sathya (Truth)
Shanti (Peace)
Ahimsa (Freedom)

Love
Wisdom
Purity
Devotion
Truth

Kindness
Patience
Honesty (being true to yourself, or patient with your patience)
Generosity
Detachment

Divine love is the highest vibration that a human can receive and transmit..... accessing that is a matter of individual choice, expressing that with artistry depends on time place and people.....

Here's Frithjof Schuons 4 Counsels that contain all

1. Resign yourself to the will of God
2. Trust in God
3. Inwardness
4. Activity

I suppose I am saying that whatever we are, we just are. We are caught between two worlds, one of becoming and one of being.

The Hymn of the Pearl

(The Hymn of Judas Thomas the Apostle
in the Country of the Indians)
Translated by G.R.S. Mead
I.

When, a quite little child, I was dwelling
In the House of my Father’s Kingdom,

And in the wealth and the glories
Of my Up-bringers I was delighting,

From the East, our Home, my Parents
Forth-sent me with journey-provision.

Indeed from the wealth of our Treasure,
They bound up for me a load.

Large was it, yet was it so light
That all alone I could bear it.

II.

Gold from the Land of Beth-Ellaya,
Silver from Gazak the Great,

Chalcedonies of India,
Iris-hued [Opals?] from Kãshan.

They girt me with Adamant [also]
That hath power to cut even iron.

My Glorious Robe they took off me
Which in their love they had wrought me,

And my Purple Mantle [also]
Which was woven to match with my stature.

III.

And with me They [then] made a compact;
In my heart wrote it, not to forget it:

"If thou goest down into Egypt,
And thence thou bring’st the one Pearl --

"[The Pearl] that lies in the Sea,
Hard by the loud-breathing Serpent --

"[Then] shalt Thou put on thy Robe
And thy Mantle that goeth upon it,

"And with thy Brother, Our Second,
Shalt thou be Heir in our Kingdom."

IV.

I left the East and went down
With two Couriers [with me];

For the way was hard and dangerous,
For I was young to tread it.

I traversed the borders of Maish~ n,
The mart of the Eastern merchants,

And I reached the Land of Babel,
And entered the walls of Sarbãg.

Down further I went into Egypt;
And from me parted my escorts.

V.

Straightway I went to the Serpent;
Near to his lodging I settled,

To take away my Pearl
While he should sleep and should slumber.

Lone was I there, yea, all lonely;
To my fellow-lodgers a stranger.

However I saw there a noble,
From out of the Dawn-land my kinsman,

A young man fair and well favoured,
Son of Grandees; he came and he joined me.

VI.

I made him my chosen companion,
A comrade, for sharing my wares with.

He warned me against the Egyptians,
’Gainst mixing with the unclean ones.

For I had clothed me as they were,
That they might not guess I had come

From afar to take off the Pearl,
And so rouse the Serpent against me.

VII.

But from some occasion or other
They learned I was not of their country.

With their wiles they made my acquaintance;
Yea, they gave me their victuals to eat.

I forgot that I was a King’s son,
And became a slave to their king.

I forgot all concerning the Pearl
For which my Parents had sent me;

And from the weight of their victuals
I sank down into a deep sleep.

VIII.

All this that now was befalling,
My Parents perceived and were anxious.

It was then proclaimed in our Kingdom,
That all should speed to our Gate --

Kings and Chieftains of Parthia,
And of the East all the Princes.

And this is the counsel they came to:
I should not be left down in Egypt.

And for me they wrote out a Letter;
And to it each Noble his Name set:

IX.

"From Us -- King of Kings, thy Father,
And thy Mother, Queen of the Dawn-land,

"And from Our Second, thy Brother --
To thee, Son, down in Egypt, Our Greeting!

"Up an arise from thy sleep,
Give ear to the words of Our Letter!

"Remember that thou art a King’s son;
See whom thou hast served in thy slavedom.

Bethink thyself of the Pearl
For which thou didst journey to Egypt.

X.

"Remember thy Glorious Robe,
Thy Splendid Mantle remember,

"To put on and wear as adornment,
When thy Name may be read in the Book of the Heroes,

"And with Our Successor, thy Brother,
Thou mayest be Heir in Our Kingdom."

My Letter was [surely] a Letter
The King had sealed up with His Right Hand,

’Gainst the Children of Babel, the wicked,
The tyrannical Daimons of Sarbãg.

XI.

It flew in the form of the Eagle,
Of all the winged tribes the king-bird;

It flew and alighted beside me,
And turned into speech altogether.

At its voice and the sound of its winging,
I waked and arose from my deep sleep.

Unto me I took it and kissed it;
I loosed its seal and I read it.

E’en as it stood in my heart writ,
The words of my Letter were written.

XII.

I remembered that I was a King’s son,
And my rank did long for its nature.

I bethought me again of the Pearl,
For which I was sent down to Egypt.

And I began [then] to charm him,
The terrible loud-breathing Serpent.

I lulled him to sleep and to slumber,
Chanting o’er him the Name of my Father,

The Name of our Second, [my Brother],
And [Name] of my Mother, the East-Queen.

XIII.

And [thereon] I snatched up the Pearl,
And turned to the House of my Father.

Their filthy and unclean garments
I stripped off and left in their country.

To the way that I came I betook me,
To the Light of our Home, to the Dawn-land.

On the road I found [there] before me,
My Letter that had aroused me --

As with its voice it had roused me,
So now with its light it did lead me --

XIV.

On fabric of silk, in letter of red [?],
With shining appearance before me [?],

Encouraging me with its guidance,
With its love it was drawing me onward.

I went forth; through Sarbãg I passed;
I left B~ bel-land on my left hand;

And I reached unto Maishan the Great,
The meeting-place of the merchants,

That lieth hard by the Sea-shore.

XV.

My Glorious Robe that I’d stripped off,
And my Mantle with which it was covered,

Down from the Heights of Hyrcania,
Thither my Parents did send me,

By the hands of their Treasure-dispensers
Who trustworthy were with it trusted.

Without my recalling its fashion, --
In the House of my Father my childhood had left it,--

At once, as soon as I saw it,
The Glory looked like my own self.

XVI.

I saw it in all of me,
And saw me all in [all of] it, --

That we were twain in distinction,
And yet again one in one likeness.

I saw, too, the Treasurers also,
Who unto me had down-brought it,

Were twain [and yet] of one likeness;
For one Sign of the King was upon them --

Who through them restored me the Glory,
The Pledge of my Kingship [?].

XVII.

The Glorious Robe all-bespangled
With sparkling splendour of colours:

With Gold and also with Beryls,
Chalcedonies, iris-hued [Opals?],

With Sards of varying colours.
To match its grandeur [?], moreover, it had been completed:

With adamantine jewels
All of its seams were off-fastened.

[Moreover] the King of Kings’ Image
Was depicted entirely all o’er it;

And as with Sapphires above
Was it wrought in a motley of colour.

XVIII.

I saw that moreover all o’er it
The motions of Gnosis abounding;

I saw it further was making
Ready as though for to speak.

I heard the sound of its Music
Which it whispered as it descended [?]:

"Behold him the active in deeds!
For whom I was reared with my Father;

"I too have felt in myself
How that with his works waxed my stature."

XIX.

And [now] with its Kingly motions
Was it pouring itself out towards me,

And made haste in the hands of its Givers,
That I might [take and] receive it.

And me, too, my love urged forward
To run for to meet it, to take it.

And I stretched myself forth to receive it;
With its beauty of colour I decked me,

And my Mantle of sparkling colours
I wrapped entirely all o’er me.

XX.

I clothed me therewith, and ascended
To the Gate of Greeting and Homage.

I bowed my head and did homage
To the Glory of Him who had sent it,

Whose commands I [now] had accomplished,
And who had, too, done what He’d promised.

[And there] at the Gate of His House-sons
I mingled myself with His Princes;

For He had received me with gladness,
And I was with Him in His Kingdom;

XXI.

To whom the whole of His Servants
With sweet-sounding voices sing praises.

* * * * *

He had promised that with him to the Court
Of the King of Kings I should speed,

And taking with me my Pearl
Should with him be seen by our King.

The Hymn of Judas Thomas the Apostle,
which he spake in prison, is ended.

Becoming is an illusion of being separate from what is, it is not 'just' being, creation is most beautiful. When you are a king, you behave like one within your reality, that is you make everything happen. You make it happen and come to rest, that deep rest of no more past, no more heaviness or lightness of being, no more balance and coincidence, no more suffering. Step out of that river forever and join us. We are waiting here for you.

Thank you Simon, I sincerely appreciate what you are contributing to the forum, what you have brought has the distinct aire of sovereignty, and that you share them with us, is in itself a compliment. The more you reveal about who your ARE, what you love, the easier it is to see the light within you burning brightly. It is a welcomed warmth, that reveals deep insights that I feel enhanced to know ... and doubt that I would have ever researched on my own, being much distracted by the superfical... but feel grateful for opportunity to add to my library.

I also have much "religion" in my life, but no religious affiliation, even though I feel it contributed much to my resolve, and validated many of my deepest emotion. It gave me a foundation upon which I was able to build a sturdy sanctuary, that is as sacred (to me) as any temple of the esoteric heart's throne. I have built it without doors or walls...and very little roofing, to allow the star's light, but forgot about digging a well...thanks for the reminder. I need to reach deep into the earth to refresh me, like a letter from home, and to remind me why I am here, now.

The pearl is soul.....its unique experience (wisdom).

We have to travel into the world of density to experience it, it is the gem found in the mine.

Most of us forget once we are here influenced by density that there was a purpose to our journey....and we become lost in forgetfulness. We become attached to the instrument and dominated by its instruments of perception.....The Source Codes are the letter sent from 'The Faultless Triune' (FS FSI SE) that wait in our DNA to wake us up and restore us to our purpose.... which is to take away the pearl and return to the kingdom.

"Exploration begets wisdom. This is the practical perspective of the entity consciousness, and it is precisely this innate quality that compels the entity to descend into time and density.

.....

"Even First Source cannot bring a species to its true wisdom. The leaders of the species must achieve it through organic, self-inventive methods. First Source, through its original blueprint of exploration, enabled the humanoid species the ability and means to acquire this knowledge itself."

.....

"At your root, you are not an immortal psychic impression, or mental echo, but rather, you are the faultless triune of First Source, Source Intelligence and the sovereign entity, colliding in a dance of energy that is evermore. Your mind must grasp the fullness of your true nature and depth of your being, or you will fall prey to the psychic impression and mental echo of your lesser self."

(Philosophy 3)
