more about the exploration of the "cenotes," which are wells, or underground water paths, found in Mayan communities... the water is not drinkable, and believed "sacred" or holy, often laden with minerals... must have been dug...for some purpose ???

I thought that it was interesting, in light of what James said in the PC interview about the WMs living in the oceans... perhaps these wells were believed to be portals to that world ?

Archaeologists dive deep into the lost world of the Maya
By Dan Vergano, USA TODAY
CARA BLANCA, Belize — Machete chops echo and leaves rustle underfoot when the vines clear, revealing cobalt-blue water in a cliff-sided pool.

Hidden beneath the dry-season forest, these waters, the blue cenotes (cen-NO-tays) of Cara Blanca, represent a mystery for scholars, one left by the ancient Maya. What lies within these sacred wells?

XIBALBA: Explore the Maya underworld

"Cenotes were portals to the underworld, Xibalba, for the Maya," says archaeologist Lisa Lucero of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign on a tour of the pools in May. "Offerings, artifacts — they would have left something there for the gods. We would expect to find something."

TRAVEL: Belize coral reef beautiful but threatened

But the gods of Xibalba (shee-BALL-buh) won't yield their offerings so easily.

The secrets of the ancient Maya, whose Central American population centers were mysteriously abandoned more than a millennium ago, have long intrigued scientists. Why did such a complex culture disappear?

APOCALYPSE SOON?Some say Maya calendar predicts doom in 2012

Lucero and her colleagues are among those trying to understand this lost world. They have been searching the 6-mile-long Cara Blanca site for ruins since 1998, working each year primarily in May and June, before the rainy season.

A team of world-class cave divers assembled by Lucero and geologist Patricia Beddows of Northwestern University in Evanston, Ill., intend to descend into the depths of three of Cara Blanca's 23 pools next year. Hazards the divers will face include trees, caves and crocodiles, not to mention 160-foot depths.

"Cenotes bell outward underground, like caves. You can't treat them like there is clear water over your head. The waters are sulfur-rich. Hydrogen sulfide can make divers sick if they push it, which has happened," Beddows says. "And there is the depth problem." Dives in very deep waters put divers at risk of serious health problems, especially if they surface too quickly.

Plumbing the blue depths

The ancient Maya lived in Central America's lowland forests for thousands of years, starting around 300 B.C. to build a culture of widespread centers marked by pyramids and temples and, stone carvings suggest, ruled by a caste of boastful chiefs. The Maya abandoned these centers around A.D. 900, a mysterious "collapse" ascribed by scholars to warfare, drought, overpopulation and environmental degradation, or a combination of each.

Spanish conquistadors met Maya descendants still living near centers in Mexico's Yucatán in the 1500s, and today some 6 million Maya still live in Mexico, Guatemala, Belize and elsewhere. "The Maya didn't go away, but their rulers did," Lucero says.

In 1904, Harvard's Peabody Museum archaeologist Edward Thompson dredged the Sacred Cenote at Chichén Itzá in Mexico's Yucatán. He found masks, jade, images of the rain god Chak and human bones. Later dives at Guatemalan lakes near Maya ruins found similar offerings.

Cara Blanca ("White Face," named after the cliffs above the pools) is itself a mystery to Lucero and her colleagues. Despite the cenotes' year-round water supply, they occupy a no-man's-land between two ancient Maya settlements, the midsized center called Yalbac and a smaller one that's called, in scientist-speak, M195. The smaller settlement is dominated by a 36-foot-high pyramid. The simple answer might be that the cenotes' salty water is undrinkable. Or it might have been sacred. Or both.

In a survey last year led by archaeologist Andrew Kinkella of Moorpark (Calif.) College, field researchers mapped Cara Blanca's swath of forest encompassing the pools and determined that only a few structures once lined one pool and one large structure existed between two of the cenotes that the explorers think hold the most promise as sources of artifacts.

"We think they were sweat lodges," Kinkella says, places of purification before offerings were made to the pools. "Sweat lodges are important places in many Native American traditions. Have you ever been in one? It's not a day at the sauna. It's an intense experience. You basically come out of them feeling like you are going to die."

Last year, an archaeological team co-led by Gary Feinman of Chicago's Field Museum reported that chemical evidence from Chichén Itzá's sacred well revealed the key ingredient behind the "Maya Blue" coloring beloved by the ancient Maya. The brilliant pigment is seen in many artifacts, such as artwork and pottery.

At Cara Blanca, he says, "finding offerings in the cenote(s) to be investigated would not be surprising at all, since both water and openings underground had great symbolic meaning and importance for the Maya and other Mesoamerican peoples."

Mission: Impassable?

To explore the pools, Beddows has picked world-class divers, including cave explorers Jill Heinerth, Steve Bogaerts and Bil Phillips, documentary veterans familiar with Yucatán caves whose experience adds up to more than a century of "technical" diving experience. "We will treat it as a cave-diving situation," adds Beddows, who has arranged for British military personnel (who train in Belize) to provide medical support, if needed, for the expedition.

Over three weeks next May, the team plans about five three-day dives in Pools 1, 2 and 16 of Cara Blanca, with two-day breaks to recover between sessions, and to tag and conserve any artifacts turned up during exploration. They will take 12-foot cores of the bottom and map the cenotes, looking for clues to their geology, and the sulfur-rich chemistry that colors the pools an unearthly blue. "The color is striking and would have interested the Maya," Beddows says.

Her chief worry is the logs and vegetation at the bottom of the cenotes, which can create a spiked wall for heavily equipped divers who can see only a few feet in the depths. "At the bottom, the chemistry leads to a thick bacterial covering and, very quickly, complete darkness," she says. These oxygen-poor waters at the bottom of the wells should serve to preserve artifacts, but they also preserve trees that have fallen in over the years. "Some of what we will be doing will be essentially gardening to clear the site," she says.

Artifacts are most likely to appear on the perimeters of the cenotes, which are the deepest waters and closest to the shore. Diving without scuba gear, Kinkella has retrieved pottery shards from Pool 1, which has mound-covered Maya structures on three of its sides. "At the very least, we should find a wealth of pottery," Beddows says

Crocs and caves

And then there is the crocodile. Kinkella encountered him last summer while floating with a student on an inner-tube at another cenote, dangling a weighted line into the pool to measure its depth. "We thought it was a log," he says. "And then it dived and headed right toward us."

The pair beat a hasty retreat, paddling their float to shore. They've since determined that the crocodile travels between the cenotes, perhaps by underground river.

"Oh, he's the least of our worries," Beddows says. "He's not a big croc. They don't bother anyone. If he's a problem, we'll trap him and tote him to another pool."

Beddows doesn't expect to find underwater caves large enough for a crocodile, or person, at the cenotes. The limestone underneath the region is "dirty" and crumbly, unlike the Yucatán, famous for its underwater caves hundreds of miles long, or Belize's Maya Mountains farther south, home to dozens of caves explored by researchers from Belize's Institute of Archaeology. "Caves were very much seen as portals to Xibalba, also," says archaeologist Jaime Awe, who heads the institute.

The same low-quality limestone was used in the blocks supporting the Maya structures at Cara Blanca and Yalbac, today covered by mounds of earth. The only clue to their contents comes from the ubiquitous looters' trenches and the way they suddenly emerge from the flat jungle ferns and undergrowth.

The soils at Cara Blanca are also poor for farming, which may have made it easier for the Maya to leave them as sacred sites. "Yalbac and other places nearby were likely covered with small farms, but weren't anywhere near the pools," Kinkella says.

"The truth is we don't really know what was going on at the cenotes, which is why we are exploring them."

this link includes the article above as well as four vids, that show some of these wells and it gives you a nice perspective of the area, one shot includes orbs (in the first vid) and my keets went nuts when they heard the jungle birds :lol:

Why is NASA suddenly talking about the Maya?

NASA Science News for October 6, 2009

Archeologists are using NASA satellites and supercomputers to crack the mystery of the ancient Maya. New findings suggest the Maya may have played a key role in their own downfall.

The Fall of the Maya: "They Did it to Themselves"
10.06.2009

October 6, 2009: For 1200 years, the Maya dominated Central America. At their peak around 900 A.D., Maya cities teemed with more than 2,000 people per square mile -- comparable to modern Los Angeles County. Even in rural areas the Maya numbered 200 to 400 people per square mile. But suddenly, all was quiet. And the profound silence testified to one of the greatest demographic disasters in human prehistory -- the demise of the once vibrant Maya society.

What happened? Some NASA-funded researchers think they have a pretty good idea.

"They did it to themselves," says veteran archeologist Tom Sever.

"The Maya are often depicted as people who lived in complete harmony with their environment,' says PhD student Robert Griffin. "But like many other cultures before and after them, they ended up deforesting and destroying their landscape in efforts to eke out a living in hard times."

A major drought occurred about the time the Maya began to disappear. And at the time of their collapse, the Maya had cut down most of the trees across large swaths of the land to clear fields for growing corn to feed their burgeoning population. They also cut trees for firewood and for making building materials.

"They had to burn 20 trees to heat the limestone for making just 1 square meter of the lime plaster they used to build their tremendous temples, reservoirs, and monuments," explains Sever.

He and his team used computer simulations to reconstruct how the deforestation could have played a role in worsening the drought. They isolated the effects of deforestation using a pair of proven computer climate models: the PSU/NCAR mesoscale atmospheric circulation model, known as MM5, and the Community Climate System Model, or CCSM.

"We modeled the worst and best case scenarios: 100 percent deforestation in the Maya area and no deforestation," says Sever. "The results were eye opening. Loss of all the trees caused a 3-5 degree rise in temperature and a 20-30 percent decrease in rainfall."

The results are telling, but more research is needed to completely explain the mechanisms of Mayan decline. Archeological records reveal that while some Maya city-states did fall during drought periods, some survived and even thrived.

Above: Deep in the Guatemalan jungle, Sever and Griffin study a crumbled "stele," a stone pyramid used by the Maya to record information or display ornately carved art. Sever and Griffin found the stele and other ruins hidden for more than 1,000 years during an expedition that relied on NASA remote-sensing technologies to pinpoint sites of ancient settlements. (NASA/T. Sever)

"We believe that drought was realized differently in different areas," explains Griffin. "We propose that increases in temperature and decreases in rainfall brought on by localized deforestation caused serious enough problems to push some but not all city-states over the edge."

The Maya deforested through the use of slash-and-burn agriculture – a method still used in their old stomping grounds today, so the researchers understand how it works.

"We know that for every 1 to 3 years you farm a piece of land, you need to let it lay fallow for 15 years to recover. In that time, trees and vegetation can grow back there while you slash and burn another area to plant in."

But what if you don't let the land lay fallow long enough to replenish itself? And what if you clear more and more fields to meet growing demands for food?

"We believe that's what happened," says Griffin. "The Maya stripped large areas of their landscape bare by over-farming."

Right: A deadly cycle of drought, warming and deforestation may have doomed the Maya. [larger image]

Not only did drought make it difficult to grow enough food, it also would have been harder for the Maya to store enough water to survive the dry season.

"The cities tried to keep an 18-month supply of water in their reservoirs," says Sever. "For example, in Tikal there was a system of reservoirs that held millions of gallons of water. Without sufficient rain, the reservoirs ran dry." Thirst and famine don't do much for keeping a populace happy. The rest, as the saying goes, is history.

"In some of the Maya city-states, mass graves have been found containing groups of skeletons with jade inlays in their teeth – something they reserved for Maya elites – perhaps in this case murdered aristocracy," he speculates.

No single factor brings a civilization to its knees, but the deforestation that helped bring on drought could easily have exacerbated other problems such as civil unrest, war, starvation and disease.

Many of these insights are a result of space-based imaging, notes Sever. "By interpreting infrared satellite data, we've located hundreds of old and abandoned cities not previously known to exist. The Maya used lime plaster as foundations to build their great cities filled with ornate temples, observatories, and pyramids. Over hundreds of years, the lime seeped into the soil. As a result, the vegetation around the ruins looks distinctive in infrared to this day."

"Space technology is revolutionizing archeology," he concludes. "We're using it to learn about the plight of ancients in order to avoid a similar fate today."

Seeing that its N-AS-A talking about this you just know its another diversion from the truth. They're talking about the Maya because the end of the Annunaki time(direct programming into the HMS) is at hand and they don't think we know anything about that so they continue to think they can still control and rule the masses by whatever alternative means they can find. It's just that their creativity seems to be rather limited in how they chose to do this and their methods are quite obvious if not old. People have powerful hearts and enough are waking up that they are questioning a lot more and not buying into the lies and DECEIT. Anu will experience the gift he gave us. Whether it be the Annunaki themselves or the planners, a system based on deceit has to fall. It IS a benevolent Universe we live in. It only takes one to see through the deceit and the rest will follow no matter how long it takes. First Source cannot be controlled or conquered. We are conduits of it and are only that when we are open enough for it to flow through us. Also, archeology is where a lot of clues will be uncovered to the real past of the planet and they will definitely want to control that information because it will reveal the extent to which we have been deceived over the centuries. This information will make our current education systems obsolete.

agree... based upon how the Mayan live today...as "keepers of the earth" it isn't much of a stretch to believe that their Annunaki "leaders" did not appreciate the earth, and when they finished plundering, left .... the Earth is resilient, and renewed itself, with the understanding a appreciation of its children...

once again, she is calling us back to the garden.

Ancient Amazon civilization laid bare by felled forest

Signs of what could be a previously unknown ancient civilisation are emerging from beneath the felled trees of the Amazon. Some 260 giant avenues, ditches and enclosures have been spotted from the air in a region straddling Brazil's border with Bolivia.

The traditional view is that before the arrival of the Spanish and Portuguese in the 15th century there were no complex societies in the Amazon basin – in contrast to the Andes further west where the Incas built their cities. Now deforestation, increased air travel and satellite imagery are telling a different story.

"It's never-ending," says Denise Schaan of the Federal University of Pará in Belém, Brazil, who made many of the new discoveries from planes or by examining Google Earth images. "Every week we find new structures." Some of them are square or rectangular, while others form concentric circles or complex geometric figures such as hexagons and octagons connected by avenues or roads. The researchers describe them all as geoglyphs.
Garden villages

Their discovery, in an area of northern Bolivia and western Brazil, follows other recent reports of vast sprawls of interconnected villages known as "garden cities" in north central Brazil, dating from around AD 1400. But the structures unearthed at the garden city sites are not as consistently similar or geometric as the geoglyphs, Schaan says.

"I firmly believe that the garden cities of Xingu and the geoglyphs were not directly related," says Martti Pärssinen of the Finnish Cultural and Academic Institutes in Madrid, Spain, who works with Schaan. "Nevertheless, both discoveries demonstrate that [upland] areas of western Amazonia were heavily populated much before the European incursion."

The geoglyphs are formed by ditches up to 11 metres wide and 1 to 2 metres deep. They range from 90 to 300 metres in diameter and are thought to date from around 2000 years ago up to the 13th century.
Human habitation

Excavations have unearthed ceramics, grinding stones and other signs of human habitation at some of the sites but not at others. This suggests that some had purely ceremonial roles, while others may also have been used for defence.

Unusually for defensive structures, however, earth was piled up outside the ditches, and they are also highly symmetrical. "When you think about defence you're just building a wall or a trench," says Schaan. "You don't have to do calculations to make it so round or square." Many of the structures are oriented to the north, and the team is investigating whether they might have had astronomical significance.

"Many of the great early civilisations had a riverine basis and the Amazon has long been underestimated and overlooked in that sense," says Colin McEwan, head of the Americas section at the British Museum in London.
Successful societies

Though there is no evidence that the Amazonians built pyramids or invented written language as societies in ancient Egypt or Mesopotamia did, "in terms of a trend towards increasing social complexity and domestication of the landscape, this wasn't just a pristine forest with isolated nomadic tribes", McEwan adds. "These were substantive, sedentary and in the long term very successful cultures."

While some Inca sites lie just 200 kilometres west of the geoglyphs, no Inca objects have been found at the new sites. Neither do they seem to have anything in common with Peru's Nasca geoglyphs.

"I have no doubt that this is only scratching the surface," says Alex Chepstow-Lusty of the French Institute for Andean Studies in Lima, Peru. "The scale of pre-Columbian societies in Amazonia is only slowly coming to light and we are going to be amazed at the numbers of people who lived there, but also in a highly sustainable fashion. Sadly, the economic development and forest clearance that is revealing these pre-Columbian settlement patterns is also the threat to having enough time to properly understand them."

Synchronicities Abound... last night I was reading something (I had read and believe I posted here last year) about the Sixth Night ...
Image
which was written by Mayan calendar expert Dr. Carl Johan Calleman. And today, I got an E mail which announced a "special report" from Exopolitics ... an interview by Alfred Webre of Dr Calleman ... which I will quote so you know I am not exaggerating (snicker) when I say this goes right along with what we were talking about in several topics ... including the new one on "consciousness" as well as some links to the movie Avatar ... and the topics mentioned in this intro:

Expert predicts end to hierarchies and value of money, more ET/UFO disclosure starting July-Nov 2010
January 19, 3:40 PMSeattle Exopolitics ExaminerAlfred Lambremont Webre

Calleman: FIGURE A: Time acceleration wave curve Image
The period Nov. 7, 2009 to Nov. 2, 2010 will be characterized by the collapse of the U.K.-U.S. axis of western domination, the dissolution of hierarchies, and an end to the perceived value of money in its paper and electronic digital formats, predicts Mayan calendar expert Dr. Carl Johan Calleman. These social breakdowns are part of a period of transformation to a new era, characterized by sharing rather than individual ownership, and by higher human universal consciousness. The pace of extraterrestrial disclosure is expected to accelerate after Nov. 2, 2010. Using the time acceleration matrices of the Mayan calendar, Dr. Calleman correctly predicted the first phase of the global financial collapse for the period Nov. 19, 2007 – Nov. 8, 2008.

Dr. Calleman’s analyses for 2010 were made in an extended interview on ExopoliticsRadio.org with Alfred Lambremont Webre, which readers can access below. Author and time acceleration researcher Barbara Hand Clow has supported Dr. Calleman’s conclusions.

I understand that this interview is difficult to listen too... so much hem hawing and jerks in the flow of the conversation make it hard to focus but there is a great deal of information being shared that is important for us to groke.

It is no mistake that the Mayan "calendar" is so extremely accurate... James hints that it was formulated by Annunaki "hybrids" that because of their genetic make up were able to understand the "galactic evolutionary formula" ... or what we know as the plan of FS ... which all universes experience and in which not only the planet evolves physically but consciousness evolves, in a set pattern...due to cosmic energy coming to us in regulated waves.

This goes right along with scientific studies, and what James is telling us about frequencies and their effect upon this Universe... The Mayan calendar reveals that there are nine periods "waves" (nights and days) starting with the lowest frequency being built upon until we reach the highest frequencies ...

Dr Calleman (and science) are finally able to comprehend this information and share it with us ... just now understanding our Origins and that the Big Bang is the place from which these energies emanate... I envision it as the place where the stone was dropped in the still pool of the "void" and these frequencies are rippeling out from there which we also understand as the "central place" that all of the Universes rotate around (not necessarily the galactic center)

He explains the acceleration of time as being our perception of these waves of energy and their heightening frequencies ... just like the pond...the outer waves are bigger and slower...he says that the first "day" in cosmic time took a quarter of a billion years to complete...and each incoming wave is shorter and more intense... until now, when we are experiencing a new wave or frequency level ever 360 days ! This is what gives us a perception of time being sped up... the waves are coming at us more rapidly and the frequency is increasing ... and both of these have drastic effects on the evolution of our species ...our mental and physical deveopment...from two cells dividing to billions every moment.

This information also coincides with what the WMM are telling us about our ability to "transform" at this place in our evolution... because we have grown ... thanks to this energy and its effect on the process The end of the Mayan calendar is not the end of the world... it is the end of the process of evolution... and because it has happened many many times before it is predictable.

This is how the Mayan calendar is able to predict with almost 100% accuracy the "days and nights" or crests and valleys between the waves, and why its message was only recently understood ... because we, as a species weren't evolved enough until now to be able to grasp it...but the Mayans were because of the "memories" of having experienced this process were passed along via their "advanced" DNA even though it was overwhelmed in subsequent generations, we have the ability to "remember" it now.

The "gods" (annunaki) obviously had experienced this evolutionary process many times before, and their more direct descendants were able to pass this information on, but it took us til now to understand or be conscious of it as a process/plan . We have the opportunity to speed up our consciousness of it, by increasing our own frequency rate with the tools the WMs have provided...so that we may assist others in their understanding of this process.

because we are on the threshold of the end of the process doesn't mean the end of the world... but the end of the "birth" process if one was to liken the waves to labor pains... hard to concieve of all this (millions of years) being "in vetro" but as we are told... a new AGE is dawning... and we are becoming aware as well as independent ... sure we will need some guidance and assistance in this next stage of our development as a species ... and are perhaps a long way off from maturity, but when the final wave is complete it is just the beginning of our self realization.

While the calendar only shows seven waves (days and nights) Dr Calleman talks about NINE ... so apparently the last two come so rapidly their effects can't even be differentiated from the seventh wave ... or at least that is how I understand the "end" of the calendar... if you have ever experienced a birth, there is a period after the baby emerges, is disconnected from the mother and takes its first breath, where time is suspended ... the drama is so great and we are so focused that we aren't aware of time or space ... our reactions are completely instinctual and intuitive and we are totally caught up in the rapture of the frequency of divine love... and this is how I understand the last two waves ... nine waves...nine months from conception to birth...with the last being the most eventFULL...and the last minutes going so fast it is a blurr.

patience pays ... and here we are, in the birth canal almost midway in the sixth night of the separation process... and as much as you may believe you are awake and are experiencing "life" ... we haven't even been born yet ... awesome !

well, IAGR there doesn't seem to be anything that the Egyptian and the Mayan have in common past a certain point.. the civilizations were obviously both founded by the Annunaki, about the same time but about three thousand years ago when the "calendar" was "presented" (the Mayan say by the Pleadians) that is where a huge the split occurred... and I would guess most of the Annunaki left for good... but even then their descendants only used the "short count" or the "sacred" portion of the calendar... it wasn't until five hundred years later, or around the time of Christ that the "long" count was discovered, and with this discovery, came a new wave of consciousness... and it is just recently (1999) that another new wave of consciousness brought the calendar into our global awareness - to the point where we are now - and all humanity is - looking toward the "birth date" .

I don't recall any prophesy being recorded (other than the sketchy "history" revealed in the architecture of the pyramid) by Egyptian studies.... while the Mayan predict with precise accuracy, not only when these waves will occur, but what changes they will bring...

take for instance the sixth night... that we are in now, was predicted to bring a consciousness of how flimsy our concepts about economics is... and with that awareness, its subsequent collapse... and an awareness of control ... and it was brought up by mention of Cahill's book, (and into the global awareness), that 85% of the population own no land...with only 15% owning it all... that a mere 26 people own almost a quarter of the world's land ... and that 41% of the world is owned by less than 1 percent of the people... when you look at facts like that you immediately see the absurdity of a situation that has been perpetuated for ten thousand years... this "energy" has completely change our perspective and allowed for a shift in global consciousness...

Caleman sees the time we are living as a "break through into unity" ... and going back to my birth analogy even though the baby is being separated from its mother... it is joining the global and galactic "society/family" ... and a great period of sharing, and a complete freedom will be experienced ... via a revolution in consciousness this galactic energy is bringing

He understands the end of the calendar, as an end to the waves...the end of the evolutionary shifts as well as the shifts in consciousness and end to war and chaos... when we become free of all controlling factors and we share everything equally ... if he has accurately translated the Mayan Calendar ... that means we have less than two years before we experience that reality... which is the most exciting thing I can possibly imagine and I have little reason to doubt based upon his history of predictions for the past thirty years...and the accuracy of, the Calendar.

you talk to me of proof when the proof is etched in stone for all humanity to see no matter when they live, and witness by anyone with eyes ... you are experiencing the proof ... or could be if you weren't so deeply entrenched in the darkness of your cave of disconnection. Come out and position yourself in the Light and catch the wave while there is still Time to prepare yourself for what is inevitably coming as the plan unfolds.

I found it intersting to read in The Maya End Times by Patricia Mercier that back in 2006 Bush was at Chichen Itza. I know that they are no longer allowed to perform ancient ceremonies there anymore as one of my friends met with Daykeeper Huntbatz Men last year and was told about it. I believe our gov caught wind of the Mayan predictions and did what ever possible to try to keep control over the Matrix and attempt to prevent our ascension to another dimension. It's like letting all the slaves get out of jail. Who's gonna do the work for the elite then? No wonder they want to keep us sheeple in the pen of 3D. Don't work that way in the higher dimensions. Service to selfishness be gone already.

Not to fear Kimberlee... nothing can prevent us from resonating at the frequency of any dimension we desire to visit or exist in... any time or place that we choose. :wink:
The PTB's misunderstanding of who we are, and our potential ... and their desire to limit or suppress us is foolishness that their arrogance only encourages.

IAGR... the (mis)understanding and (mis)interpretations of Mayan culture even by those who research it thoroughly is well known and widely disseminated throughout academia... much like Kabballah it has been fragmented and dissected until its origins are lost and has little resemblance to what it IS.

It is my understanding, from what James has revealed via the LTO and their mastery of time travel or longevity... that the Mayan who received the "calendar" (from the Pleadiean ?) were hybrid Annunaki/human ... who most likely had life spans of a thousand years (as did the First Beings) This information was given to them because the were capable of understanding it... whereas Humans were not (at that time) but have evolved now (with the waves of galactic energy) to the point where they can.

James mentions this here: in Answer 11 of the Project Camelot Interview - As for prophecy, the Mayans in particular, were very advanced because they had specific priests that were offspring of human and Anunnaki genetic intermixing, and this allowed them to understand the higher order mathematics of the Human Mind System. The HMS is a mathematical composite equation at its foundation level. I realize that this may not seem possible, and your belief or disbelief is not important, all I will explain is that for prophecy to work, predestination must be existent, and if predestination exists, then mathematics would seem a likely reason, would it not?

Your fanciful telling of Myan Mythology is the product of an over active imagination IMO and has little basis in fact ... and even if you were to provide a link to this colorful "history" I would question and have to research its source for myself before I would repeat... or believe it.

as for the mumbo jumbo you have posted... whatever it was intended to convey has no influence on me (if it was directed towards me) but as the only "english" word suggest, may very well be reflected back upon you, by the polished facets of the Merkaba that the frequency of Love allows us to be :lol:

Celebrate the beginning of the Seventh day of the Galactic Underworld, November 3-7, 2010

Humanity’s climb of the cosmic pyramid continues. The actual Ninth wave will not begin until March 9, 2011 although we are already beginning to feel its approach. Before the final climb to the ninth wave and the ninth level of consciousness can begin we will however need to complete the foundation of the eighth level so that we have something to stand on. The eighth level of consciousness of the cosmic pyramid is what has been carried by the wave movement of the Galactic Underworld that began January 5th 1999 and, as all we nine waves will be completed on October 28, 2011.

As the thirttenth energy, or seventh day, of the Galactic Underworld starts on November 3, 2010 we may say that the particular Yin/Yang-polarity that this has been projecting onto the Earth is locked into position and will not be replaced by any further night in this Underworld.

I feel it is important to realize that the field of consciousness that each of the waves brings is different and that so they have a distinct influence on the human mind and to get an idea of this we may look at figure 1. In this figure we may see that while the ninth wave, starting March 9, 2011, serves to create unity consciousness (absence of darkening filters) the eighth wave endows the human beings with a filter that favors the right brain half. Hence the nature of the consciousness that the eighth and the ninth waves will be bringing is different and the ceremonies and spiritual processes that we may participate in in order to align with these polarities are different.

Just looked upon at face value it would then seem as what we are to align with and celebrate on the weekend of November 6-7 (which follows upon the shift) is a world where the feminine, the intuitive mind and the eastern hemisphere comes to dominate since they would all be linked to this enlightenment of the right brain half. Yet, as we can see from the figure this is not exactly the case since the world was for about 5100 years dominated by the consciousness of the sixth wave where the light fell on the left brain half and so as a result favored the rational mind, male dominance and the West and this is sort part of the platform that we are all already standing on. Hence as the seventh day of the galactic Underworld is activated we will actually finally come to a point when it is time to celebrate the end to male, western and rational dominance and we will be able to create a balance between the different aspects of the human mind associated with the left and right brain halves.

It would thus seem that the weekend of November 6-7 2010 would be a perfect time to perform ceremonies to recreate, celebrate and align with this new balance which is established on a cosmic scale and waiting for us to download it.

As it turns out during this weekend Don Alejandro and the Buddhist spiritual leader
Reverend Seiyu Kiriyama will be performing a Buddhist-Mayan fire ceremony, which we may all look upon as a balancing of the energies of the West and the East: (See [link to DON'T_USE-THIS]
I feel however that these energies will also be an excellent opportunity for anyone who wants to be a co-creator with the divine process of creation to bring this balancing to have an immediate meaning in our individual lives by performing ceremonies around the theme of the return of the feminine and intuitive in all of us in such a way that both human expression is seen as having equal value and an equal place in the human civilization.

For the beginning of the Seventh day of the Galactic Underworld and its following weekend, November 6-7 I would thus like to encourage every human being to take part in some balancing process to celebrate the return of the divine feminine into their lives. I encourage everyone to be creative in developing ceremonies and processes to co-create the manifestation of this shift in the most constructive and positive way.

This does not preclude that to attain such a balance within ourselves and between the genders externally we will need to do some serious spiritual inner work, and forgiveness processes in order to leave the past dominance paradigm behind. In order to support you in this a facebook page ( [link to on.fb.me] and a rudimentary http://www.treeoflifecelebration.com website have been created. Increasingly we will now find that we will all need to co-create the upcoming shifts and that they will not happen automatically. Increasingly also I believe that we will be required to take the transformative processes and ceremonies home and not just look for it to happen in the external world. I call all co-creators of the cosmic plan to participate in the creation of a balanced fundament to stand on November 6-7. It is from this fundament that we will soon begin our process into the unity consciousness that will be carried by the ninth wave that will be activated on March 9, 2011.
Carl Johan Calleman

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
NOVEMBER 3rd THE BEGINNING OF THE SEVENTH DAY OF THE GALACTIC UNDERWORLD
The Seventh Day represents a time of Bliss, the creation has been made in the six days and nights and now it’s time to enjoy it and is becoming relevant to more and more of humanity as we connect deep into the stillness within and have an open heart, otherwise it’s still a time of great challenge as duality plays out. But time is literally running out as the cycle waits for no one. The cycle is all about consciousness as we become the Light that we have always been.
The Seventh Day is a wake up time, to move beyond all the old patterns of control fear and trauma and into the Light of creation and the joy and bliss that is our sacred heritage. The ancient ones are back and now we embody that essence as we are the ancient ones in all our multi-dimensional forms as we create Heaven on Earth through our heart.
the Mayan "calendar" is truly an amazing way to reckon consciousness ... seems we just entered a new 260 day rotation of one wheel, and are about to enter the Ninth Wave, a 364 day cycle - the ultimate wave of this Era of the suppression of the Sovereign Integral (according to the Annunaki's original plan) - Caleman's practical understanding of the ancient text, led him to believe that October 28th of this year is the actual "end" of the calendar ... but even their own records speak of this end in the past tense -and associate it with celebration not fear or dread... that is a recently evolved HMS program IMO.
An explanatory note regarding February 11, 2011 and March 9, 2011
Dear Friends,
I have got so many emails from people asking about February 11, 2011 versus March 9, 2011 that I feel it is necessary to write a special note about this particular issue, where I am largely responsible for the confusion myself. The question is: What is the beginning date of the Ninth wave? To address this I need to backtrack somewhat.
When I started my independent work on the Mayan calendar late in 1993 I already suggested two things that seemed controversial and unorthodox: One was the proposal that there were not only one, but nine waves, (underworlds, supports, levels of evolution, long calendars) of different frequencies of different durations that were creating the universe. A second was the proposal that the end date of the True Long Count is October 28, 2011. Naturally both of those assumptions came under attack by various people who had concocted suggestions as to what would happen on December 21, 2012, without foundation in Mayan texts. I however argued that the use of the Mayan calendar had undergone significant changes over the ages and the only criterion we could apply when it came to finding its true form would be that this actually would explain evolution in all of its aspects and would be useful for making predictions.If it was not reasonable useful for this why take an interest in the Mayan calendar to begin with? Such a criterion of rationality would have to be applied also to the Universal Underworld, which however at the time seemed to be far into the future and thus not completely clear to me.
Regarding the beginning of the ninth wave I thus wrote in my first book in English Solving the Greatest Mystery of Our Time: The Mayan Calendar (Garev 2001): "The short Universal Cycle of 2011, probably totaling 13 x 18 = 234 days, but possibly 260 days..." leaving an opening to the orthodox answer that it would just be another traditional tzolkin count starting February 11, 2011 (which has the added appeal of being an amazing palindrome date (11.02.2011 in international notation)). This quote reflected a vacillation or uncertainty on my own part not certain whether I could introduce a third unorthodoxy such as the return of the nine day count. Before taking such a step I wanted to feel a little more secure that my overall model of nine levels all completing on October 28, 2011 was true (that is to say accurately described the evolution of consciousness and the emerging paradigm shifts). In the Mayan calendar and the Transformation of Consciousness (Bear and Co 2004) I place more emphasis on the final 260 day tzolkin round as the duration of the ninth wave (and so did, I think, always Ian Lungold who did so much to spread my work). Nonetheless, also in this book I wrote ("or possibly, if it is one twentieth of the Galactic Underworld, 234 days; I cannot tell yet," page 216). The point here is that there is nothing that has changed, but rather a vacillation on my own part that has now come to an end. In the early nineties, when these notions were first developed, I had a much less certain view of how the Mayan calendar was going to evolve.
February 11, 2011 (1 Imix) thus remains the beginning of a tzolkin round and may for this reason be a cause for celebration for anyone following the traditional Mayan calendar. It is only that on my own part I tend to think that the experience of its inherent rhythm will be broken up by the ninth wave starting March 9, 2011, in which days and nights are each 18 = 9+9 days long. The tzolkin I believe will remain an undercurrent of energies whose power will however come to be superseded by a 18 = 9 + 9 day rhythm. It was Robert Gunn who through a manuscript he had sent me prompted me to lean over to these 234 days as the duration of the Ninth Wave. But generally, you might say that the fact that the two earlier mentioned unorthodoxies have now been verified, or at least given tremendous additional support, gives me the confidence to place the emphasis on the March 9 date as the beginning date of the Ninth wave. What I am referring to here is partly the support from the Tortuguero monument, which in no ambiguous terms states (http://www.calleman.com/content/article ... nument.htm) that indeed we are up for the simultaneous manifestation of nine waves (and not just one Long Count) and partly the verification of the October 28, 2011 date through my predictions about the Fifth night of the Galactic Underworld in the Mayan calendar and the Transformation of Consciousness. To the latter should be added the arguments that are presented in my interview in three parts on YouTube with Mayanist Mark van Stone (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OSu-SWJILQU) that December 21, 2012 cannot be the end date of the true Long Count (it is the end date of the Izapan Long Count, which is another matter) and that the ancient Maya who developed this calendar system were not at all interested in solstices (which is more of a thing for the currently dominating northern cultures of our planet).
If you ask me today I would then say that February 11, 2011 is the beginning (1 Imix) of a new tzolkin round of 260 days, but that March 9, 2011 is the beginning of the 234 day long ninth wave or the Universal Underworld. Naturally, some may react to my earlier vacillation with surprise, but the fact is that an explanation to the Mayan calendar is not cut in stone anywhere. Even the Tortuguero monument can only be made sense of with a background of all cosmic evolution in its entirety and when I started my work this monument was not even known. You also have to see such a monument in the right perspective and use your critical faculties in trying to make sense of such an archaic text.
To uncritically just take over a date or concept from the ancient Maya without further verification is much like saying that something is true just because it is written in the Bible. Clearly ancient peoples did see a lot of things we mostly are not able to see and so they may guide us, but in terms of overall factual knowledge the modern world is vastly ahead of the ancient world. Despite this knowledge basis whatever view we endorse regarding the Mayan calendar our models will always involve assumptions and interpretation that will require our best judgment (and putting our own egos aside). In doing so I feel that there are a few rules that we need to follow. One is not to base any aspect of the calendar on a personal (such as your own birthday) or local (such as the solar zenith in Izapa) agenda. Another is that the calendar should be able to describe the evolution of consciousness and the paradigm shifts through which this is expressed. Most importantly we need to follow a model that is process-related that accurately describes the processes that we want to co-create.
Inca tomb discovery turns up archeological trove
It's being celebrated as the most important archeological finding in Peru since the rediscovery of Machu Picchu more than a century ago. Peru's government this week released details of the discovery of nine tombs dating back to the pre-Hispanic Wari civilization that existed in the country's Andes region near the city of Cusco.
Between the year 500 CE and 900 CE, the Waris inhabited the south-central Andes and coastal areas of what's now Peru.
"This is a story of great significance for the cultural heritage of our country," Peru's Deputy Minister of Cultural Heritage and Cultural Industries, Bernardo Roca-Rey.
A team of archaeologists made the discovery in Vilcabamba, in Peru's Cuzco state. Among the findings: a Wari noble who was buried with a silver breastplate. The team nicknamed him `The Lord of Vilca' after the Lord of Sipan, which was a third century mummy discovered in the north of the country in 1987.
Gold and silver pieces of a pre-Inca lord are shown at the National Institute of Culture, INC, in Cuzco, Peru, Wednesday, Feb. 23, 2011.
As March 9, 2011 arrives, we are called to begin co-creating Unity Consciousness; March 9, 2011 is the dawn of the wave of unity.
Thus, the year of 2011 is not scheduled to be just like another year. Very likely this is our last chance to live up to being co-creators with the cosmic plan. As this Gregorian year began, the messages that circulated reflected our heightened ambivalence to the passage of time. On the one hand there were the every year kind of messages like: “Hope you will have a great 2011” or “what do you want to create for yourself in 2011?” as if this would just be like another year. Messages centered on the individual, based on a linear view of time made up from years following one after the other.
On the other hand, around the New Year reports started to come about the “aflockalypse.” Large numbers of fish, birds and animals simply died for no apparent reason. This instead pointed to anything but a linear continuation of time in 2011. The aflockalypse is possibly due to the frequency increase that the nine levels of the Mayan pyramid undergoes combined with the extreme degree to which humans have now pushed the ecology of the planet off balance. If this is true, it would call upon us to adapt to this new frequency and also shift completely from asking for things for ourselves and what we as egos or individuals may want from 2011 to what our egos may do to serve the delivery of the divine plan. The ninth wave of unity would then be calling for a complete shift in our way of being, to manifesting unity consciousness, which is the intended end result of the cosmic plan. If this is to happen, it may also call for extraordinary cosmic energies to fulfill the cosmic plan. In fact, maybe the ninth wave will be a Judgment Day that will save the world.
If there is a twenty-fold increase in frequency with every wave, the Ninth Wave, or Universal Underworld, will have a duration of 13 x 18 = 234 days and would then start March 9, 2011. It will progress through seven days and six intermediate nights, each being a uaxaclahunkin. In Mayan calendar language, this means an 18-day period. The 18-day periods can be subdivided into two nine-day counts (two days off from the classical nine lords of the night count) since they will have both an ascending and a descending phase and in this way we may see more clearly the link to classical Mayan calendrics. If the ninth wave is all about creating harmony from what has evolved previously then our task would be to ask the divine for guidance as to what we would do to arrive at this. If we are asking for global harmony we cannot however simply ask for our egos to guide us. Instead we will from the outset have to ask questions like: “What can I do to serve the cosmic plan?” or “What shall I do to further the manifestation of unity consciousness?” If the days of the ninth wave are the time periods most conducive to generating such unity consciousness then we will have to turn for spiritual guidance from the divine in phase exactly with these days of the Universal Underworld.
The ninth wave here joins the alpha to the omega in that for the first time in history it brings the nine-day count to the forefront of evolution. These will be extraordinary times and it is possible that we here will be confronted with a choice of truth versus tradition. The reason is that if the ninth wave will have the strength that we may expect from the evolution of a new underworld then it will be energetically more powerful and stronger than the traditional tzolkin count of 13 x 20 days. The Ninth level will, in other words, bring in a nine-day count that transcends the tzolkin in power and is more meaningful to follow for those seeking to align themselves with the cosmic plan. Still, of course, the tzolkin will continue to live on as an undercurrent of energies.
The rhythm of the Universal Underworld is then a nine-day climb of increasing intensity starting on March 9, 2011 followed by a descending intensity for the next eighteen (9+9) days until a new descent begins of eighteen (9+9) days. We will then have to learn to ride this wave in order to ultimately climb to the top of the pyramid to be able to witness the appearance of Bolon Yokte Ku in “his” full regalia. Calendars to follow this eighteen (or nine day) count are available in German (can be ordered from christiane biebl christiane.biebl@web.de, See also http://www.indalosia.de) and Swedish (http://www.livsstrommen.se), but also on web sites in English and French (http://4-ahau.com/
Home.html).
Dr Calleman seems to be on a roll ... here in this interview, he explains deeper, the significance of the "waves" ... remember the ninth wave began with the Tzunami in Japan - as if to demonstrate the power behind what he calls "the Unity" wave . He talks about being "led" to research the Mayan Calendar, and feels inspired to talk to as many people as he can, now ... but he understands, our now as a time of conflict because of the "friction" of leaving one system for another (control/sovereignty) - What he is revealing in his independent research of Mayan text , almost parallels what the WMs are revealing ... I invite you to discern for yourself ... I found a great deal of light in this message
The Ninth and final Wave of the Mayan Calendar
http://www.calleman.com/content/ninthwaveintro.pdf
As you can see from the dates below we are currently in the ninth
wave of the Mayan Calendar. This is the final wave of the
prophetic calendar with an extraordinary high frequency of dramatic events
- The Ninth wave is also known as the Universal wave.
The waves are levels of consciousness
the human race has ascended through.
We are on the highest and last of these.
The levels are called underworlds.
Each underworld is divided into 7 periods
of light and 6 of darkness known as days and nights
Each of these periods is governed by a specific Mayan
deity (energy) which affects the consciousness of that
time period. Day 1 being Heaven 1 and so on until
Heaven13. They generate a process from Seeding in the first Day
to Fruition in the Seventh.
Each Underworld has a particular effect on the global
mind and on global history and is twenty times
shorter than the one it is built upon.
This is why we experience time as speeding up.
The first underworld’s day/night periods were 1.26 billion years each.
In the current underworld we will experience these changes every
18 days. The Ninth wave will complete on October 28 2011
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
We've just entered the 7th and LAST DAY of the 9th and FINAL wave.. what will happen? (MAYAN CALENDAR)
The last day of the last (9th) wave, lasts 17 Gregorian Calendar days ranging from 11th of October 2011 till the so-called end of the calendar on the October 28, 2011.

This last day is entitled 'fruition'.

I don't know about "frutation" ... but I got my pocket picked yesterday :mrgreen:

The Universal Flower Wilts and makes way for the Fruit of Universal Truth

The 7th day Universal fruits of the "Cosmic Tree of Life" which starts on the 11th October will allow for the greatest shift ever to Unity Consciousness. Yet, with this will come seeming chaos but it will be Divinely ordered to Creation's will. The dawn of a new time will rise up through all consciousness as we birth a world that can only survive in complete truth, sacredness, peace, love, harmony, respect and humility. Honouring this balance will allow for unity consciousness to be attracted to itself, thus Oneness will become whole from seeing this consciously from within and without. We are the duality of the same coin that has 2 sides which connect the within to the without and allows for our perceptions to evolve from the separateness to the Oneness.

The Cosmic Tree of the Universe exists in synchronicity with the Divine cycles, rhythms and frequency of time that emanate from the center and Source of the Infinite Universe. This center is mirrored within our Ancient Heart. The human is the portal connecting the within to the without. Thus, because we have free will we can destroy ourselves or live in harmony and peace with ourselves and all it reflects as another aspect of self.

Since the brain has been given to humanity it has evolved into various states of awareness, the highest state the brain will ascend to is the state that the ancient heart has always existed in. The brain is about to reach an alignment with the heart, thus the consciousness of self that the heart has to filter through the brain will see itself having no polarized or dualistic filters any longer and this will allow for a direct connection to the Oneness of the Universal Heart of unconditional love and light. We will see everything transparently for what it is. The illusions of separateness will dissolve. This event in the time and space of the 3rd dimension will fully manifest at the completion of the full growth of the Cosmic Tree of the Universe. The actual Gregorian date that this is going to fully complete, is according to the completion of the 9 levels of Creations Consciousness of the Mayan Calendar, going to be on the 28th of October 2011.

I feel personally that the days of the 10th 11th and 12th of October (the 11th being the beginning of the 7th Day and the 12th being the full moon) are good days to celebrate in alignment through ceremony with the Divine will of Creation's Ultimate Purpose of allowing for Oneness on Mother Earth and with the Infinite Universe.

This week after the Cosmic Convergence I have felt incredible feelings of truth resonate through my being and I have never before felt such powerful feelings of Great Spirit's guidance. I sit in awe of the profoundness of where we are at. We are not only in the last hour but also now in the last second, a mere billionth of a second away from the completion of the greatest achievement yet, which will allow for Oneness to evolve without any challenges."

James has some interesting things to say on prophesy and "2012" events:

actually this is the last "day" (seven days six nights) - and on the first day we got the tsunami that wrecked Japan (and effected/infected all of Humanity)

Dr Caleman, does not use a "calendar" he uses astronomical events to "mark time" ... all of the Universe is calculated into his "prediction" of cyclic events on a scale we are not able to grasp easily ... dr Calleman has done the math, so to speak, and contributed his research freely to anyone who is interested in knowing such things.

I believe that is why James says that 2012 will be somewhat uneventful - if the major shifting has already taken place - people will be so distracted by Survival (in 2012) that they won't notice how the Earth is transforming ... or how some individuals are assisting it ... by being in complete harmony with Nature
