|Post subject:||Grand Portal vs Naked Heart|
I don't know how many of you listened to Charlottémarie's Naked Heart album -- where IMO the Lyricus - The Grand Portal was adapted from! ~~ or, any of you think it was the other way around? Tell me your views!
On the cover of Naked Heart it says: Composed and Produced by WingMakers
The Grand Portal has 2 tracks:
1. Solitonic Transformations 24:20
2. Solitonic Transmissions 32:20
Naked Heart has 7 tracks:
1. The Way Home 6:42
2. Circle the Sun 12:22
3. Beloved 9:33
4. Shakti's Garden 11:02
5. Serengeti Sonnet 10:29
6. Bodhisatva's Dream 8:26
7. The 10th Gate 7:13

As for me, I like Naked Heart than The Grand Portal as music CD.
Especially, I love #6 Bodhisatva's Dream.
Probably Naked Heart is the cover album of The Grand Portal.
While listening to its energy, The Grand Portal has more energy.
This energy may have the force tuning charkas.
By the way, do you know about Charlottémarie's New CD?
The title is Initiation.
This CD also may be the cover album of Hakomi Chambers 7-12.

Thanks for the reply-- yes, I saw on Charlottémarie's website the news ref. her new album Initiation.
For sure the new album is going to have a collection of music from where the new Hakomi 7-12 was adapted from.
Note the back of the Initiation CD: Produced and Composed by WingMakers!
Initiation has 7 tracks agaisnt chambers 7-12 (6 tracks).
Initiation only is going to be released on May 15th --so of course, it is clear that was to accommodate the launch of Hakomi 7-12.
I m just wondering here how this whole production is taking place-- I mean, what is the deal and what is James/WingMakers main objectives with this new Hakomi and why two different productions/layout for the almost the same music.
Its a shame a paper/article is not available like before on the philosophical perspective behind the new music!!
Now back to Naked Heart -- it is my choice too vs The Grand Portal in terms of intensity -- but ~~ I often still listen to both to see if there's a different meaning in the message... ~~ more to come!!

Actually, I had been informed of new Charlottémarie's CD from mutual friend of her a month ago.
I wanted to know the nature of this CD, and I asked Mark whether WMLLC had schedule to release new CD.
Mark replied me and said, new WM’s CD is Hakomi Chambers 7-13.
Yes, new CD included 7 compositions at first.
So when I first saw the notice of Hakomi New CD, I wondered why chamber 13 was erased.
( I am sorry I did not share this info with forum, but I was so busy and I believe that one of the condition for the honorable researcher is to keep secret in some cases. In short I want to keep friendships among all information providers.)

To answer your first question CE...which came first the NAKED HEART or the GRAND PORTAL... I am inclined to believe that the Grand Portal came first and inspired Naked Heart...which IMO was a more focused attempt to stimulate the heart...at least that is where I "felt" the music on that album...and I did love it....but believe the Grand Portal contains more, if not all of the embedded "tones".
the reason I believe that, is because NH is only "snips" of GP...but I would suggest that if you really want to know, that you ask Charlottemarie...from what I understand, she is only too happy to answer questions from her fans.
the very fact that the Album cover states it was a WM's album says it all.

Starduster, The Grand Portal was launched first -- but it is obvious the Naked Heart was the main frame for it. As I said, Naked Heart has all the layers/music of The Grand Portal… the same songs plus more… Like Shima pointed out, the same is happening with Charlottemarie’s new album Initiation – and its clear the album was produced first and has again more tracks in it even enough for a Hakomi 7 to 13 chambers but instead WingMakers LLC /production, decided to launch Hakomi 7-12 so Initiation is longer and different!
Starduster: the reason I believe that, is because NH is only "snips" of GP...
SD >> see above, NH has all the tracks of The Grand Portal plus more…
Of course – all IS good and everything has been composed and produced by the same source/person/James/WingMakers anyway!! I was just trying to make a point… and check which album (NH vs GP) is the favourite among those that listened to both and if there is any extra comments/observations...;)
BTW, thanks once again for the information Shima!

<< Sorry OFF-TOPIC >> Just an observation!
Hey Rick -- nice to see you around and thanks for the beautiful pic ~~ corizon diablo!
Just an observation of common sense -- your images is always too big in size and all this use lots of unecessary bandwidth, lets try to composed and reduce/balance images in terms of size before we post! Note that corizon diablo even goes beyond the layout of this forum and is distorting the alignment of the page.

just goes to show ya...it is all in our perspective...I can see what you are saying CE... there are only two tracks on the GP cd, but they are long(er) versions....and I felt that the NH cd was sort of an "abridgment" ... with other songs added ( for more focus on the Heart?)and got the oppocite "feeling" about the source.
does it matter? I listen to and enjoy them both... equally...but I see in the intro to the latest cd James "counts" nine CDs in the WM's collection...and that would INclude this latest Hakomi (7-12) Not to be "picky" but if we included Charlotemaries cds that would make 11...why they are being release from separate places remains IMO to be seen...
to tell you the truth, about my feelings, I though that perhaps these other tunes Charolettemarie included in her cd were "inspired" by the GP or "excluded" for a reason. I assumed that the embedded materials were in the "official" WMMs.
I also agree that many that i have spoken to find Charlottemaries cd more "favorable"... but I personally prefer the GP...and it has become my all time favorite (so far).
I don't know how he does it, but I feel that the music is progressive, and that there is a distinctive difference in the AA site, when compared to the HP music...I liken it to flying and think of the AA music as walking... I also noted a feeling of "reverance" and "sacredness" as I focused on the HP's music with each new release.
I am grateful that I had the opportunity to recieve these cds one at a time, with plenty of time in between to appreciate each cd seperately, but now that I have them strung (seamlessly) together on my player, with the replay button pushed, I rarely ever notice the "difference"...
I would hope as the newer members buy these cds that they would give each individual cd the attention it deserves (at least one month exclusively) before advancing on to the next...maybe that seems "anal" to some, but just as it is suggested that we read the philos, Interviews and the Lyricus in the order they were presented, I think that we should avoid picking a "favorite" cd and only listening to it...as our "human hature" often desires, because I believe that they "bulid" upon each other.
not to make "rules" about listening, I am just offering my "feelings" on the subject.

I've been thinking (without having heard Charlottemarie's CDs) that perhaps, James lends from her "earthly" music which is familiar to the human ear and then applies the encoding with microbeats/stereophonic playing/unnoticed background music patterns etc.
As James has said he has taken artistic autonomy in making the music sound earth-like. This makes me think that probably the music would be something like parts of Hakomi 3. Melodies (which we tend to focus the most) may only play a small part.

This week, I have taken my focus away from the words of the cd...and have found the "breathing" that is embedded in the music...some may see these as waves...but I find if I breath with the background...the "tone" of the particular tracts, comes to the surface...I have tried to pick out the predominant tone...and to "sing along"... The first time I did this, I was lying down with my hands folded across my chest... I was able to feel some of the tones, vibrating in my heart area...some actually made my teeth vibrate as I "toned" along...
I expecially appreciate the "elevator" effect found in the first tract...and when you are breathing with the music...it becomes UPlifting...and is very significant as it established a level of consciousness for the rest of the cd.

Hey, Starduster I like that! Thanx, I think I'll try it and let you know.

Just received Grand Portal some days ago. The first seven minutes of Solitonic Transformations (24:20) are profound and we cried together, the sounds and Ajumaaree. I feel calm and peace.
All is as it should be in this moment.
Love & Gratitude

The first fifty seven minutes seem to sound great but then it declines rapidly.
